Coffee not hot enough
This is our second DeLonghi coffee maker. The first one was a 12 cup glass carafe model which we have kept for a backup/additional pot. This new one makes great coffee but does not keep it hot enough. The hot plate shuts off when the coffee stops brewing. We have reverted to using an additional hot plate to try and keep the pot hot or just drink our coffee a little faster than usual.

Poorly designed coffee maker
Coffee maker looked great on paper, but is the worst coffee maker I've ever seen. The water level window is so dark you can't see the water level as you add water. The coffee pot lid needs to be unscrewed in order to pour coffee. The coffee pot also has a seam near the base of the pot which is rusting (inside and out). If you want to air out the water holding tank, the pouring unit has to stay open. The heating unit on top which supposedly heats your cup, barely warms it.
