A: Hello, thanks for your question. This lock connects to the app via Bluetooth, allowing you to lock/unlock and view activity logs when your phone is within Bluetooth range. For remote control from anywhere, a G2 Gateway is required and sold separately. If you prefer a smart lock with built-in Wi-Fi, you can choose our D110 Plus or C100 Plus series.

A: Thanks for reaching out. The lock uses 4×AA batteries and usually lasts up to about 12 months with normal use. When the batteries start running low, you’ll get a low-battery alert so you have time to replace them. If the batteries do run out completely, you can temporarily power the lock with a power bank using the Type-C emergency port at the bottom.
