I bought this game cause I've been a fan of Final Fantasy ever since Final Fantasy I, now it's a fighting game but unlike games like Soul Calibur, Mortal Kombat or Street Fighter. This game has battles that fits well with Final Fantasy. You have Bravery Points that you use to deal damage to the emeies HP, the higher your BP's the higher the damage you deal to the enemey. You can also attack your enemies BP in order to lower it and give you more BP and it also has an interesting Limit Break system. Above all it's a nice addition to the FF series as it has a nice charm to it. The graphics are nice, the music is epic and the battles are just a blast to play. If your a fan of FF then I would pick this up and add to your FF collection.

Ive said to myself for about two years that Square Enix should start using Kingdom Hearts battle system so the game can be more like the battles show in the in game movies. Finally, its here. Personally, I think the battles are perfect. Not only do you get to use some of the biggest and most well known game chatacters, but you also get to use them to their full potential. Also, I really appreciate FF for their storylines and this one takes the cake. I still havent beaten the game yet but thats because i go thru each story at least three times with each character, but so far everything ties together smoothly. I think they could build upon this game to deliver a Dissidia 2 and maybe have a 2v2 instead of 1v1? Even if they dont, this game is definitly one to buy. If you are a fan of FF than there is no dissapointment to be found in this game

If you're a fan of Final Fantasy, then this game is a no brainer. I didn't know who all of these characters were, since I got into FF with FFVII, and it made me want to find the old games on some port and play them.
I don't have to many gripes about this game...the cut scenes are a little cheezy. Just bad script. Voice acting is ok. My biggest complaint about this game are the controls. I wish I could just use my weapons when I'm attacking, not some special type of move. Every character handles different, so there are some you'll be comfortable with, and some you'll be down right frustrated with. Other than that, it's got a solid RPG element to it, with equipments, selecting from a move list, and what have you.
Good game, just a little frustrating at times.

Reminds me of Mortal Kombat, but with Final Fantasy characters! Hell Yeah! Anyways so yeah I own and love this game its great and in my personal opinion its better than Mortal Kombat. More movement in the areas and better adjustments to the camera views as for the graphics they are indeed good.

This is the very first Final Fantasy game I have ever played. I am aware that the other Final Fantasy games are not like this;Fighting. This is quite possibly, if not already, the best PSP game ever made. The Story is long as well as challenging which is a nice change to a PSP Game. The game mechanics are well done and easy to learn.

I played the demo like everyone else, the demo was cool, of course, it's Final Fantasy. As you know, Dissidia is a mixture of most of the fan favorites of Final Fantasy. From the popular Cloud Strife to the Onion knight to villains such as Sephiroth and Jecht. Although it's a fighting game, the demo didn't feature too much of it's supposed RPG element. However, I thought that the game was missing a 2vs2 battle. (Either you hate it or don't). Either way, if you're a fan, you'll enjoy this one.

My friend has the Japanese version of the game, and I have been addicted to it ever since. The quality of the graphics are great, especially since it's on a portable device, the characters are seperate and do not feellike cookie cutter copies, each are unique in fighting styles. The story is great, though I had to follow it online because mine is the japanese version. I will definitly grab a copy of my own once the North American version is released! Love it love it love it!!!!!

In the beginning the player must be the Warrior of Light and go through a prologue, it is not to long and not difficult at all. Then the player can do quick battle or communications mode which allows multiplayer battles. Also the player can buy alternate outfits and other characters (Chaos side). Very fun game, the controls are simple and make sense, but when someone whom is good plays they will easily beat the button masher. Overall good storyline and excellent gameplay.
