Love this Gimbal
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This gimbal is perfect, the ability to fold the SC2 into multiple shooting positions is really an amazing selling point, one day of shooting with this in the field solidified this as a daily piece of equipment in my kit

Awesome gimbal for price and size
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Having used the DJI Ronin M stabilizer for a couple years, as well as trying the Ronin S and hating it, going to this was a much better experience. I chose the smaller RSC 2 because my heaviest combination is only 4lbs, so it didn't make sense to get the more expensive RS. Pros: Much lighter than both Ronin S and M (VERY IMPORTANT) When packed up it takes a very small amount of space which is VERY IMPORTANT! The portability of this stabilizer is the main reason I got it. I travel often without much luggage and it's much nicer to carry this around than a huge Pelican case that's 50lbs (Ronin M) or another heavy stabilizer like the Ronin S. Incredibly capable for size and price point Lots of features and customizability - ability to change modes, capabilities, gimbal add-ons, etc. CALIBRATION!! It is SO much easier to calibrate because the axis locks in every direction. This is a godsend! Build quality is exceptional, just like in every other DJI product. Battery lasts a LONG time (12-16 hours for me depending on usage) Has a screen! Once you get past the learning curve, you'll have a lot of fun with it! Cons: Steep learning curve. The amount of modes it has can be both an advantage and disadvantage. I recommend taking at least a day to learn how the modes and the gimbal itself works. ALMOST doesn't fit my camera size-wise BUT supports weight-wise (Canon 80D with 18-35mm 1.8) Doesn't support heavier cameras (that's what the full-size RS2 is for)

Light weight and upgraded features
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Ronin S size and weight made it extremely cumbersome when traveling. With the new folding design and reduced weight, I decided to upgrade! Not only is it lighter and easier to carry it has some excellent upgraded features. The front scroll wheel can manage focus, ISO, or aperture control. The display on the back now allows you to manage the RSC2 set up without needing to open the phone app! It's the perfect travel gimbal!! I might upgrade to RSC2 Pro combo or even Rs2 pro combo soon to utilize all the features. RavenEye seems exciting.

Q: QuestionWill this work with a Canon EOS 80D, please?
Asked by Dunc.
- A:Answer It will work with most cameras on the lighter spectrum. Ive never personally handled the 80D but it works well with my 70D. however, it will struggle with heavier cameras like the R5

Q: QuestionDoes this gimbal work with the Sony a5100? If only partial support is provided for the a5100, what features would not work with the a5100?
Asked by Dood.
- A:Answer As of the latest firmware release the a5100 is not listed as compatible. Without trying one out myself it's hard to say how it would react, but I would assume that the ONLY functionality that would work for you would be the gimbal phone and hand controlled movement and the general stabilization. I say this because you have to calibrate the gimbal manually anyway to align the center of gravity, so as long as the camera is within the weight capacity of the motors with whatever lens you are using, there is no reason for it not to work. You'd have to use a different mechanism to trigger your shutter, auto focus, etc. remotely, or use servo mode and the like to automate some of it. You would also not be able to use the Raven Eye expansion if you wanted the image transmitted externally for remote operations. For that reason if you do get one, I'd get the stand-alone and not the pro kit, as that will have hardware you will pay for but not be able to use.

Q: QuestionCan you shoot vertically with this or just in landscape?
Asked by Kate.
- A:Answer It can shoot vertically however its not very easy to control in that mode. It order to have more control, you have to take it apart and re-assemble it basically upside down. Theres youtube tutorials for that since its such a big design flaw.
