A: Yes, thick kit is compatible with that vacuum.
Q: Will these tools work with the Dyson V8 model 214730-01?
A: It does not fit any stick vacuums. It says in the manual it is for upright Dyson's only. We found it out the hard way when we ordered it with the purchase of the V8 stick as a suggestion to order with the vacuum.

A: Per the manual, it will fit all Dyson upright models. It does not fit any stick models.
