Q: Is the tray non-stick? If yes, does the coating come off easily? Thanks.
A: Yes non stick. Use my air fryer 25+ times already and still coating has not come off.
Q: What is the capacity of the unit
A: 3.5qts, I was able to roast a 5.5lb chicken in it and it came out wonderful

Q: Is there a heating element in the base?
A: No the only heating element in the top of the machine. The removable bowl and fryer basket sit in the middle of the machine. It works very similar to a top broiler.
