A: Hello Skip, thank you for your question. For 3-way and 4-way configurations with our Z-Wave switches, you must use the designated Z-Wave add-on switches. These add-on switches require a traveler wire and you cannot proceed without one. It appears that you will need an electrician to install traveler wires in the locations that do not have one. The traveler wire and neutral wire must be present at all locations in order for this to work. Q: Can I use this switch for my regular ceiling fan
