A really good headset for the PC and PS5

I'd highly recommend these. The audio quality is really good and you can use the 2.4ghz dongle and bluetooth to listen to both audio sources at the same time. The only issue is the EPOS app is not very good and any EQ settings would not be saved to the headset.

    Great headset but…

Even though this is made by sennheiser, a great studio audio company/disturber… this is not worth it value, that’s near $300, don’t forget your taxes… but out of all the many “gaming” headsets that I’ve tried, this has been closer to my expectations, audio is better than others, features are cool, comfort level is better than others as well… I guess I had higher expectations from EPOS “sennheiser” for making a headset… do I recommend, yes but when on sale! Thanks for reading :)

    From a Sound Engineer

I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with the EPOS H3PRO Hybrid Wireless Gaming Headset for PC. As an audio engineer who relies on high-quality equipment daily, I expected this headset to deliver on its promises. Unfortunately, it falls short in multiple areas, including fragile plastic construction, connectivity problems, volume spikes, and an unsatisfactory warranty policy. Build Quality and Fragility: The build quality of the EPOS H3PRO is deeply disappointing. The extensive use of fragile plastic renders the headset susceptible to damage and breakage. Regrettably, the headset only lasted seven months before succumbing to these structural weaknesses. As a professional in the audio industry who handles instruments, microphones, in-ear monitors, and headphones regularly, I know how to properly handle and care for my equipment. It is disheartening that a headset from a reputable brand like Sennheiser would exhibit such fragility. Connectivity Issues: The connectivity of the EPOS H3PRO is riddled with problems. On multiple occasions, I had to repeatedly connect and disconnect the USB dongle for the computer to recognize the headset. This inconsistency and inconvenience significantly detract from the overall experience, leaving me frustrated and dissatisfied. Volume Spikes and Audio Anomalies: The occurrence of volume spikes and unexpected audio anomalies, particularly during alert notifications, is another major flaw with the EPOS H3PRO. These sudden fluctuations in volume can be jarring and disruptive, compromising the immersion and enjoyment of gaming or any audio-related activities. Unsatisfactory Warranty and Customer Service: One of the reasons I chose the EPOS H3PRO was the advertised two-year warranty and the reputation of the brand. However, when I encountered issues with the headset, the warranty claim was denied, citing cosmetic damage. As an audio professional who understands how to handle and care for audio equipment, I can assure you that the issues were not a result of negligence or mishandling. This denial of warranty coverage was deeply disappointing and made me question the reliability and commitment of the brand to stand behind its products. Conclusion: In conclusion, I strongly caution against purchasing the EPOS H3PRO Hybrid Wireless Gaming Headset for PC. Its fragile plastic construction, connectivity issues, volume spikes, and disappointing warranty policy make it an unsatisfactory choice. As an audio engineer, I am a fan of Sennheiser's other products, such as the e835 and e935 microphones, which have consistently impressed me with their sound quality and durability. However, the EPOS H3PRO does not live up to the brand's reputation in terms of microphone performance, build quality, or warranty support. I have shared this review to ensure that others are aware of my unfortunate experience and can make an informed decision.
