Epson has been manufacturing printing supplies for as long as I can remember and there has never been a time in my professional career where I have had a positive experience with Epson. Epson printers cause nothing but issues. My printers in particular fail to connect by Wi-Fi and when I can finally connect, they cannot print a thing. The ink is of high quality but the products for which this ink is manufactured for is preposterous. Would I recommend this ink product to a friend? Sure; but Epson products have had a very long history of issues. I have been utilizing HP ink auto-delivery with my compatible HP printer and it has saved me about 11 trips to the store, 419 headaches and a couple thousand dollars in ink over the past year (roughly). Plus, it is super cool how HP automatically mails me more ink cartridges when I am running low on ink. HP has been my go-to for more than six years and would recommend you avoid Epson at all cost.

The double-pack is a convenient purchase. You save a little on the double-pack than two single purchases. The ink does go fast, so best use draft mode for preliminary prints or proofread document or use PDF files for e-transmittals. I do wish that Best Buy still carried the 200XL black ink. It prints 2-1/2 times more than the 200 regular. Always follow the print screen directions for installing new cartridges. I went by the printer replacement directions on the printer. Any mistake doesn't allow reinstallation of the same cartridge. It recognizes it as being used and empty. Then you wasted the cost of an unused cartridge. Best Buy does not accept exchanges of opened ink cartridges.

      Waste of Money

This product and the corresponding printer are a TERRIBLE waste of money. I'm not an especially frugal shopper, but I really wish I had done more research before making the purchase. I print approximately 50 pgs of black and white text per month and a single ink cartridge doesn't even last that long. What's worse, even though the ink is still in the cartridge, the printer decides it is "empty" (when it isn't and it's still printing completely clearly) and will not print any more until it is replaced (there is no way to get around this setting). The ink cartridge jams about once per week and the printer's clean setting has to be run just as often to avoid streaky pages. I'm buying a new printer and tossing this Epson piece of garbage in the dump.

I have had HP printers, Canon Printers, and Brother Printers. All were good, but they shared one characteristic: Replacement ink cartridges were terribly expensive. Using those products caused me to turn in a lot of homework and papers in weird colors, trying to refill my own cartridges, purchasing refilled cartridges and golly! Even buying a new printer because a new printer with ink was cheaper than just buying ink for the printer I had. Then I found Epson - high quality printers that use affordable, quality ink. I purchased the Epson because it was cheaper than the HP ink I needed and it has worked out just fine. I would recommend Epson ink over any other ink out there I know of. It's great!

I have had so many bad experiences with ink. Will the cartridge work? Will it really print black? So many questions! I decided to take a chance. I inserted the cartridge into my printer and lo and behold, it worked. And yes, it really was black ink! Imagine the possibilities. I can print text. Black and white photos if I want. Incredible! Can life really be this good!? Since using this cartridge, life is better, people seem nicer to me, yes, even my marriage has improved. My depression is cured. Even my stress migraines have cleared up. My faith in humanity has been restored. Thank you for producing such a fine ink cartridge. I will be purchasing many many more in the future!

I have an Epson XP-410 and these are the perfect cartridges for it. I sell on Ebay and print postage labels a lot, and this ink looks great and the printing is clear. It says it lasts for 175 sheets if I recall correctly, and for shipping labels which are pretty intensive with lots of writing and thick lines I probably get 120 or so from 1 cartridge. They're not overly expensive either so I've been able to stock up. If you need black ink for your compatible Epson, this is it.

Printers are getting to be like the razor lately (stick with me on this) ... you'll find that printers are incredibly inexpensive...but when it comes to needing ink? (like the razor cartridges) you end of giving an arm and a leg! however Epson has taken it to a new level... they want 'top dollar for what seems like a half a thimble of ink!' ...I'm not a heavy printing person...and I find the ink running out in a matter of days (not weeks). I recommend buying 'after market ink'

I purchased, took home and installed asap. used the printer and printed in grey scale as I always do, printed off 5 pages of text no pictures. 15 minutes later, I go to print another report and the printer ink shows the ink cartridge is almost empty, I printed 1 page, again, text only and in grey scale. TADA, now the cartridges are empty. I had also purchased and installed the color cartridge as well, using grey scale and they too are empty. $50 for ink that showed up as half empty cartridges when installed and now I am totally out of ink.
