Scan documents & photos fast with lots of options
|Posted .If you have a need to scan documents to archive and / or distribute them online on a regular basis, this is what you need. It’s much faster and more convenient than using a flatbed scanner for scanning in bulk. It will scan various sizes of documents including photos. More on photos later. Link to User Manual: https://files.support.epson.com/docid/cpd5/cpd59134.pdf Epson has a very wide range of document and receipt scanners for Business and Consumers. The ES-580W is near the top of the Epson consumer scanners. The only difference I could see between the two lines is warranty (3 yr vs 1 yr), included software and price. A 1 year extended warranty is available for this scanner. The ES-580W features a large 4.3 inch touch screen allowing for easy navigation without a PC. It can scan both sides of a document at once and load up to 100 pages in the feeder. You can send scans to your PC, mobile device via app, USB drive, email, cloud (Dropbox®, Google Drive™ OneDrive Ect), FTP and WSD. Also scan via WiFi direct. Along with all of this you have a choice of file formats from TIFF and JPG to searchable PDF, MS Office formats and Quicken formats. The scanner ships with a power adapter, USB cable and document feeder you insert into the back of it. Using the quick start guide makes setup quick and easy. I had no problems setting it up to my WiFi router, PC or Android phone. Be sure to gently remove all of the shipping tape before use. See photo. Also blow out any styrofoam beads that might have dropped into it when you open it to remove some of the tape. As for the mobile app, be sure to download Epson Smart Panel only. Build quality looks and feels good. The scanner keeps track of use and can sense when certain maintenance needs to be done like cleaning the rollers and sensors. There are also replacement rollers & other parts available should you wear them out. See manual. The ES-580W has a maximum optical resolution of 600 dpi. Scanning speed will depend on the size of the documents being scanned and resolution setting. Epson quotes 35 pages a minute “Based on letter-sized (8.5” X 11”) scans at 300 dpi in Black-and-White, Grayscale or Color Mode”. 200 to 300 DPI is a good setting for average text documents. 600 DPI for photos to print or archive. I was impressed with the speed & quality of the scans. You can set scan options from the touch screen or the scanner software. Using a PC will let you set all the options. Phone app is a bit limited. You can also set up Presets for certain specialized scanning jobs. See photos for DPI quality comparisons. Note: 1200 DPI option is interpolated. Meaning it guesses the extra data. Ok for say, a drawing, but not so much for photos. The higher the DPI, the bigger the file. Tech info on the Text scan comparison photo. I used a Canon TR-150 in the highest quality mode to print out a page from a high quality PDF that included a photo as well as text. I used Kodak matte photo paper that’s for scrapbooking. It’s not glossy like photo paper. It’s more like card stock but coated. I used it because it doesn’t bleed and gave the clean results I wanted. I scanned it at 600, 300 and 200 DPI saved to a lossless TIFF file. I then cut out layers and assembled them in Photoshop on a 600 DPI page. Cropped & saved in JPG at pixel level. No enhancements done. Scanning Photos. You can scan photos with the EW580W as well as business documents. That’s part of the reason I got it. Epson also makes a version of this scanner for photos. After researching the hardware specs on them, they are the same, I concluded the only differences were included software and the photo version lacks the touch screen and cost $200 more. Being a photographer I think I know a good image scan of a photo and I think the ES-580W produces an excellent photo scan! I scanned in a bunch of prints and selected some sections to use as examples in this review. If you use Photoshop or Paintshop or any other photo editor they will work fine to edit photos from this scanner just like with a camera. There’s a slow feed option that scans a little slower. Use this for photos. They will be sharper. See photos. Tech info on the Photo scan comparison photos: I scanned at 600DPI, 2, 6X4 photo prints to lossless TIFF files. The Iguana eye and snow on the pine needles. That was shot on Kodak Gold 200 ISO in the 90s. I also scanned, at 600 DPI, a print made with a Canon Pro-10, printed in standard quality, onto Canon Luster paper shot with a Canon EOS R and 100L Macro lens. . I included this scan to show color quality. I then cut out layers and assembled them in Photoshop on a 600 DPI page. Cropped & saved in JPG at pixel level. No enhancements done. Case study: I inherited all of my fathers photos when he died a few years ago. Scanning them all to share with family on a flatbed scanner was a job that got old fast and the project got put aside. With this scanner that project will now get completed and soon. So it’s not just for business documents even though that’s its primary function. I’m also self employed so it will get used for that too. It’s going to be a big time saver for me in many ways. Please see the user manual for how to use the scanner. It’s well laid out and, I think, easy to understand. This review is to simply tell you what it will do and how well it will do it. Not how to do it. Not enough room for that. :-) Conclusion: If you need to scan documents or photos in bulk, fast with high quality output, lots of options for file formats and destinations, and easy to use from the touch screen, PC or app, the ES-580W has you covered on all of these fronts! Highly recommended!!!

Working from home just got easier
|Posted .============================= >>>>> Bottom Line Up front: <<<<< ============================= The Epson WorkForce ES-580W document scanner does everything right. It’s compact, easy to use, handles multiple paper/document sizes with ease, has TWAIN driver support and best of all – IT IS WIRELESS! Scanned documents can be single OR duplex – Black and White or Full Color – regardless of the input provided – the ES-580W’s image quality was spot on. From the office and productivity style workloads that I used it for, its pretty hard to beat. What I liked: =========== - Small foot print, and super easy to get setup and going on a basic level - Colorful responsive 4.3” touchscreen - High quality, fast document scans, regardless of document size/shape - It’s WIRELESS!!! - USB port for direct access What I didn’t like so much: ====================== - while sturdy – still feels a little to light and plasticky to me - lack of detail on mobile app name/installation/usage - you MSUT install Epson Smart Scan Software to unlock full device potential =============================================== >>>>> Personal Observations after a regular usage: <<<<< =============================================== If you’re in the market for a document scanner – chances are you have a lot documents you need to scan A LOT of documents - quickly, accurately – and OFTEN. I can definitely say that this was the case for me. I have traditionally relied on larger/commercial grade document scanners in my office environment of ‘yor – however as we all know – the ‘RONA” has fundamentally changed the way a lot of us “work” these days. I haven’t been able to use those fancy commercial document scanners stored away at the big office for months now – so I have been relying on my Multi-Function Laser “All in One” – to do all the heavy lifting at home since then. Enter the Epson WorkForce ES-580W document scanner. Initially, I didn’t know what to expect given, the compact size of this unit - particularly compared to what I was accustomed to using traditionally at work. For starters, I was pleasantly surprised at how well the Auto Document Feeder handled the 50-100 sheets of documents that would feed throughout my day. I have a lot of presentation style slides, and contract type documents I am constantly scanning and sharing/collaborating with members of my team – and while my traditional Multifunction all in one would handle it…it was a cumbersome process, that wasn’t exactly the most time efficient. – the ES-580W on the other hand…. made it significantly faster and easier thanks to its 4.3” touch screen and wireless access from ALL of my devices across my home office (and then some … more on that a little later). Thanks to the TWAIN drivers, uploading the scans directly into Photoshop for the times you may need to made some creative adjustments to any images you’re working with. That being said, my use with the ES-580W was mainly for 50-100 mixed photo document scans for sharing with other as previously pointed out. For those purposes – I couldn’t ask for more than what this Epson has to offer. Images were crisp, clear and in no way any different than if I had used my Multifunction’s built-in scanner – only the ES-580W did everything I normally do in a fraction of the time. I was a little skeptical with the duplex scanning functionality – seeing as how you can some times run into issues with them “misaligning” the images as it passes through the auto document feeder – but I am happy to say that wasn’t the case in any of the documents I was working with. BONUS – I also found that the ES-580W worked really well to scan receipts and invoices as well…. I consider myself a huge organization guy – borderline OCD – and I traditionally file all my invoices any receipts in my trusty 6 drawer filing cabinet that is dedicated for just that. I have been telling my self I need to digitize my records and invoices, and man was I happy when I saw that the ES—580W handled all the odd shapes of traditional receipts and mixed sized documents with ease. Interestingly, EPSON makes similar devices that are marketed for just hat purpose, but the ES-580W seems to excel for work AND play – so to me it is the better value. I didn’t heavily use the USB functionality to make direct scans from there – but if you’re the type that is constantly moving large workloads/documents on mobile thumb drives/external storage – I imagine that will be huge for you. The 4.3” inch touch screen made using the menu’s easy – and for the most part, set up was painless and quick. Epson did a good job making the ES-580W being one of those things you don’t really need to read the instruction to get it set up – you can just plug it in and get going, or it will tell you what you need to work right on the display. Speaking of software - If there was some room for improvement – it would be nice if the the packaging or setup guide had a little more detail regarding software installation instructions. While it included very rudimentary instructions, and made a mention of installing the desktop “Smart Scan Software” – it made NO mention of the name of the Epson mobile App required for use on mobile devices – for reference it is called: “Epson Smart Panel” – on Android - which is not the same as the desktop software. It would be nice if Epson made mention of the name in the instruction or at least kept the software name the same – because if you search “Espon” in the App store you get at least 3 or 4+ hits of legitimate Epson software products. While the Desktop “Smart Scan” software was super and easy to use, it is key to installing to get the most functionality out of the ES-580W. The mobile “Espon Smart Panel” has a very clean, well-organized layout – however not all of the functionality is available in the mobile app interface when I compared it to the desktop software. Regardless, it made running scans and work loads from my other PC's, tablets, and mobile devices a breeze...it was fun to see what I could do. Mainly, though, for me having the ability to have team member collaborate and run scan when working with me in my home office that much better - so if that is something your finding yourself doing - a wireless device is a must. ========================== >>>>> Closing thoughts: <<<<< ========================== The Epson ES-580W is hard to beat from a home office perspective. It scanned all the power points, slides, worksheets, spreadsheets … receipts .. invoices… etc, etc – without skipping a beat. The Auto document feeder never jammed, and the resulting scan quality was great. The time the ES-580W has saved me from my traditional routine more than justifies what Epson is asking for this device, at least from my point of view. Yes, it is a little on the “plasticky” side – but what isn’t these days – the light wight and small foot print more than makes up for it. I can’t recommend this device enough if you’re looking to add a solid document scanner to take your “work from home” routine to the next level.

Scans Like Champ!
|Posted .This is an office must have!!! My wife is a CPA and telecommutes one day a week. She scans all kinds of financial documents all the time! At home we had a flat scanner and that is just not practical when you have 10, 15, 20 double sided bank statements ect. I also can work from home from time to time and bridging the paper world into the all digital world can be a real pain but the Epson Workforce ES-580 wireless scanner really makes some strides in making that easier. Set-up was easy as far as putting the unit together. The Epson comes with a usb cable if you wanted to connect it that way but the wireless part is really awesome feature. It makes it easy to set up where ever you need it with out having to carry a cable around. It doesn't have to be in close proximity to the computer. Keep in mind you still have to have a plug in near you though. I also really like the small footprint of the unit on my desk! Fits right in to my crowded office environment and looks sharp as well. I had a little trouble setting up the regular drivers from Epson’s website. The scanner was not connecting. I think it was because I have a dual band router and the desktop was on one band and the scanner on another. Make sure your computer and the Scanner are on the same band! I became impatient and just decided to do a direct wifi set up with my computer. Super easy. Got it all ready and scanned 10 double-sided documents with color logos on the stationary. IT BREEZED though them. Super-fast! The scan speed alone really impressed me but then the Epson software popped up on my computer and I was really excited. Getting documents scanned in is one thing but what is the format? Where does it save the documents to? Then I have to go find them and attach as an email or copy and paste into word to put into a work binder excreta… Well the Epson software box popped open after the scan and I had at a single click very useful and commonly used document management at my hands (see pic). I could save it to my HDD sure, but it had a box I could click to do an attachment, or to send to drop box, or Evernote, or Google drive, MS Word or Excel!! You can also customize where you send it! It also has a limited trial for receipt management. Super useful tools that really enhance productivity! Those are all the places I would send the docs anyway! I sent the documents to MS Word to see the quality. The scan was crisp and clean and the color logos were true to color. The documents scanned and looked presentation ready. Fast, awesome quality scan with super intuitive software makes this a winner for sure! If you have to still work in a paper world and transfer into the digital world this Epson Workforce will make life soooooo much easier!

Much Improved and Independent Scanner
|Posted .I am moderately familiar with Epson scanners. Our company provides us the DS-530 models. I absolutely love them, and they are big improvement over similar models from other "big name" brands. The biggest limitation of that model is that it only connects via USB. In a general sense, the Epson scanners of this type are extremely quick, can do 2-sided scans in a single pass, and are loaded with configuration options to get your scan looking the way you want it and saved to the location you want it (at least on your computer). I knew from the description that this scanner went well beyond the boundaries of just scanning to the device it's connected to over USB. You can scan to a computer, to a network folder, to a portable device (such as a thumb drive or portable hard drive), to Cloud accounts (Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, Evernote, and Box), or scan and email yourself (or someone else) the document(s). Even better, once fully configured, you could set this scanner up anywhere you want, as you no longer need to have a computer nearby. Well, almost. I had some trouble, but I'll explain. The scanner took less than 5 minutes to set up (once I got all of the packaging undone and the shipping tape removed from the device. I literally plugged in the power cable, turned the unit on, tapped the screen where the Wi-Fi symbol was, input my Wi-Fi password, and I was good to go. The software needed on your computer must be downloaded from the website (no CD included). It installs drivers and the ScanSmart software. This can be used to to make an incredible number of setting changes, and then launch the scan job. I did have one problem with this scanner that I have not been able to solve. Scanning to a computer directly from the scanner is one of the options. However, I could not get my computer to appear in the list when selecting this scanning option, even after a couple of reboots of both devices. The touchscreen does display a message that the receiving computer must have ScanSmart installed (which of course, I do). However, I was able to launch a scan from the ScanSmart software on that computer. I was also able to very easily scan to a thumb drive (it has a USB drive in the back for this) and to my Box account. Because I chose the option, the scanner created an "Epson Connect" folder in my Box account, so I could quickly find my scanned document. To me, this makes the scanner infinitely more useful than any other one I have used, including the one provided by my company. I can scan my documents to my cloud account, and then access them from anywhere with any device in order to organize them. I could set the scanner up in my kitchen because I don't need a computer to do this. One of my favorite features of this scanner (and most Epson models) is the ability to "skip blank pages". So if you have a stack of pages where some are 2-sided and others are not, you can select this option and the single-sided pages will have the blank side removed from the batch. A HUGE time-saver! Even the touchscreen display is customizable. I have included photos of some of those options. You will also notice a preset button These can be used to program a very specific task, such as "scan in color to my Box account with 2-sided scanning, skipping blank pages, and correct the document skew." That entire configuration is now saved as one of the presets. Another HUGE time-saver! This is very easy to use scanner with a very small footprint. It has a collection tray that folds up under the scanner, so when not in use, the scanner could easily fit on a table or bookcase that doesn't have much depth. The number of features may be a bit overwhelming, but once you explore them, you will quickly find which ones benefit you the most. I am very satisfied with this scanner and have no excuses to not start digitalizing all of the paper in my life!

Then, send those editable PDFs to Word and Excel® files · Downloadable Presto! BizCard® 6 OCR Software for creating or adding to existing database of scanned business cards, populating preset or custom fields in popular smartphone address books and contact manager software. **SETUP** Epson makes this as easy as it gets. Following the Start Here guide in step 3 to, “Download the ES-580W software package” from the provided link, I let it percolate along. With the device plugged in and ON, the software was installed on a Windows 10 PC, found and connected the scanner to Wi-Fi and made it ready to operate. Then, it found and installed a device firmware update. And that was that. The software package was also installed on a Mac, with the mobile software installed on an iPhone, iPad and two Android phones. Before leaving the software installation on the PC, I accessed settings to tell scans generated by and through the PC where they should be stored, what resolution to use as default (200dpi) and other personalizations each user may make. One setting of note – the scanner software can be set to start scanning automatically when it senses loaded documents AND with the launch of the desktop software. I chose not to select this option. On the Epson ScanSmart PC software screen can be seen a choice for SCAN double-sided, SCAN single-sided and this one with a corner sash-type banner called, “TRIAL – Manage Invoices/Receipts.” Under the clickable are these words, “Automatically extract data form [sic] invoices/receipts and upload to QuickBooks, TurboTax, and Quicken.” Underneath is a long oval with this text inside, “Click here for more details.” That would be nice, I thought. Intrigued, I clicked! This becomes a $100 non-subscription software add-on called, “Invoice and Receipt Manager.” Without this package, users can save the images of these files. With the software, certain fields are recognized and data extracted, then automatically exported to accounting management software as listed above. What a time-saver for small businesses as well as individuals who regularly require this data for tax time! The 30-day trial was not evaluated. Finally, I looked into the “Scan Settings” within the software. Under the Main Settings tab the following choices were available: · Document size Auto Detect in addition to all the standard size presets · Image Type, including Auto, Color, Grayscale and Black & White · Stitch Images Off, top and bottom or left and right · Rotate, from Auto to 0°, 90°, 180°, 270° · Correct Document Skew, with options Paper Skew, Contents Skew, and Paper and Contents Skew · Skip Blank Pages, On or Off · Detect Double Feed, On or Off Under the Advanced Settings tab were the following choices, with others not available on this scanner: · Image Option – None; Remove Background Standard or High; Text Enhancement Standard or High; · Brightness – Default to 0, adjustable from -100 to 100 (useful for photo scans) · Contrast – Default to 0, adjustable from -100 to 100 (useful for photo scans) · Unsharp Mask – Off, Low, Middle, High (useful for photo scans) · Descreening – Off, Low, Middle, High · Edge Fill – None, White, Black · Remove Punch Holes – Off, All Edges, Left & Right, Top & Bottom · Watermark – Off or On Users are encouraged to take the time to explore and become familiar with the full array of user settings for maximum enjoyment and efficiency. All set up and ready for fun! **PUT TO THE TEST** The Touchscreen provides on-device choices similar to those in the desktop software; what to do with scans and where to send them. Plugging a USB stick in the provided port on the back of the scanner tells the scanner you may wish for scans to go there, bypassing the computer for scanned document portability. Printed documents were scanned to PDF and OCR software created search capabilities. Others were scanned, OCR read and sent to Microsoft Word (installed on my devices) where formatting was generally preserved. I tested the software’s ability to recognize and discard blank pages. Perfect! On some documents with particularly small font sizes, it was necessary to increase the DPI so the OCR could do its work. Users will become familiar with these subtleties through experience. Next up, receipts from grocery stores, bakeries, restaurants, home improvement stores and big box stores. These random receipts were neatly unfurled, and equally neatly stacked for loading in the ADF. One of the grocery receipts was particularly long. Then, in the PC software, I chose single-sided scan and clicked the on-screen Scan button. Artistry in motion! Though all went through as hoped, one at a time, some appeared not perfectly straight as they were drawn through the mechanism. Once all the receipts had gone through, a window opened on the computer screen with small representations of all the scanned receipts. Clicking on the first one, I could see clearly that the automatic deskewing capabilities had worked perfectly, straightening the images on my screen. From there, I was able to enlarge and further organize each receipt any way I chose, by the store name or type, for example, and where I chose for them to be stored, be it locally for access on the PC only, or to the cloud where access is possible from all devices at any time. Presto! BizCard® 6 OCR Software was not evaluated here. However, I have prior successful experience with this somewhat ubiquitous business card acquisition and management software, so I would expect users to meet with success. Let’s go over maintenance requirements. According to information on the Epson Website, “Clean the inside of the scanner every 5,000 scans. You can check the latest number of scans using the Epson Scan 2 Utility”, with detailed instructions. There are consumables that may require periodic replacements, though in my experience with similar products, these parts rarely require replacement, but regular cleaning is very important. Consumables include a roller kit. However, this is called for only “every 200,000 sheets,” so it is not likely to be needed for quite a long while. **CONCLUSIONS** At first look, the Epson WorkForce ES-580W is easy to set-up and use, right out of the box. Upon further investigation, fine-tuning settings allows even richer capabilities, all of which increase the value to the consumer. The scanner appears to be well designed and solidly built for long daily duty cycles over many years. Maintenance promises to be minimal beyond keeping the paper path free of dust and debris sloughed off from papers that pass through. My experience has been great! There is everything to recommend this $400 scanner at its price point. There are more expensive, more robust scanners, but most consumers and small businesses should find this is all that is needed. In fact, I suspect that most users will like the basic features and touchscreen display without diving into the more advanced capabilities. Still, it’s nice to know there is more to this scanner than meets the eye. **WARRANTY** 1-year limited warranty in the U.S. and Canada

BizCard® OCR (internet connection required to download) Usage impressions: This Device is an extremely easy to set up and provides excellent value and functionality. The setup is quick and only has 3 steps on the Start Here Poster. Much like any printing device, one of these steps is to remove all the shipping tape from the device and the other is to download the software. The primary connection method for the device is via a wireless connection. The system can connect to Windows and Mac devices as well as Android and IOS devices. For the mobile OS devices, you must download the Epson Smart Panel App from either Google Play or the App Store The device you are connecting to must be on the same wireless network as the scanner and it will be found by the software package. Within minutes I was connected via a windows laptop and ready to scan. Once connected you can initiate scans from a computer or smart device just place the originals and set the scan settings in the app and hit scan. The first test I ran was 2 notebooks that my wife wanted to scan so that she could share this information with relatives. The first notebook was 115 pages and they all fit without issue in the sheet feeder of the device. A few clicks and about 3 minutes later I had the entire notebook in a PDF document ready to share. The second one was actually a few more pages and I split that pack into two and again it had no issues with the scanning. In under 10 minutes, I had 3 PDF documents totaling about 500 pages ready to go. Quite impressive and the single-pass duplex scanning of this device really speeds up to process of scanning and it reduces the chances of the device jamming as the paper does not have to be reoriented. The sheet feeder is rated at 100 pages and can handle mixed sizes of paper for quick scanning. When using originals of mixed sizes, the manual states to order the scans with the widest sizes toward the back of the sheet feeder – which means they will be scanned first. Other options besides scanning to a smart device or a computer include scanning to a network folder, scanning to email, scanning to the cloud, and scanning to an external USB device. For scanning to a network folder, you must first set up the network folder which can be reached by SMB. FTP, FTPS, WebDAV via HTTP or HTTPS, or WSD in Windows 7 and higher. The device can scan for shared drives across the network via the SMB protocol. For email, you must configure additional settings to an email server. For Cloud, you must link the device to your Epson Connect account. USB device scanning simply requires you to plug the drive into the back of the device via the USB A-Type connector. In addition to scanning documents for storage in electronic format, this device would be great for those that get checks and need to scan them in for deposit. Another use case for this device is the scanning of photographs, however, this is one area where this device can have trouble and the manual explicitly states that they can be damaged by the machine. To do this they recommend using an optional carrier sheet – basically a sleeve to protect the original. Unfortunately, these sleeves are quite expensive. The manual further recommends using a flatbed scanner for photos to get the best color reproduction. They also make other products for the scanning of photos. The device has an MSRP of $399.99, which is a good price for this scanner. It would be a great price at $349.99, and a steal at $299.99. Overall, this scanner has great versatility and capabilities. This document can allow one to archive in electronic form many documents that one may have in paper form and thus saving you physical storage spaced in your file drawers. Pros: versatility, Speed, connectivity. Cons: Lack of direct photo scanning, possible need to use expensive carrier pages.

Excellent Scanner
|Posted .WorkForce ES-580W Wireless Duplex Touchscreen Desktop Document Scanner. Quite simple to set up and begin scanning. It is as simple as, unpackage, connect the top feed cartridge, connect the power, a couple of easy acknowledgements on the ES-580W 4.3” touchscreen, download the Epson ScanSmart software to our ZenBook, and scan. It is really that simple. I set the ES-580W up to communicate, wireless, with my ASUS ZenBook 14. The package does come with a hard wire to connect your Espon ES-580W to your computer, tablet, or notebook however I chose to connect wirelessly and it was simple and works great. The scanning speed and end-result is impressive. I was accustomed to using a flatbed scanner and as you may know these do take a little time and effort to complete any scanning project. I loaded the ES-580W with 10 sheets of documents w/graphics and two pages that were just graphics with a lot of detail, b/w and color. The ES-580W interacted with our ZenBook quickly and the speed and accuracy of the scanning was incredible. I repeated this process multiple times and the ES-580W performed flawlessly. 10 pages, 1 sided, in 18 seconds. The scanned documents/graphics are excellent, you could not see the difference from the scanned items to the originals. I scanned a lot of documents, documents with b/w graphics and colored graphics, and graphics with a lot of intricate art in both b/w and color and the results were great every time. Lots of options for saving your scanned items. Example: Touch the “Computer” button, computer you chose to send the scans to, 1 sided or 2 sided, and press scan. From the Epson software you can save the scanned items to your computer. The same procedure is applied if sending to a Network Folder/FTP, Email, Cloud, Memory Device, or WSD (if set up). A couple of touch controls on the 4.3” touchscreen and your good to go. The ES-580W is compact yet powerful.
