Ever After - BLU-RAY

Drew Barrymore and Algelica Huston give touching performances as antagonists in the context of a retelling of the Cinderella story. Historians will cringe at the impossible details the plot caused by the mixing of actual Renaissance nobility with fictional characters. Still, it's a feel-good story that viewers will wish really happened.

This is my third copy of this movie. I have replaced it at least once for my own use and given it as a gift to my granddaughters. Not just a fairy tale but a story with lessons in history, philosophy and humanity. While this movie was created in 1998, its story and this telling is ageless.

I adore this film and everything about it, I knew I had to get it once I saw it at Best Buy. I'm also glad that I did. This is a chick flick (obvi) and it's always a good one to watch with your girlfriends for Girls' Night In on Saturday nights. I recommend this film (obvi).
