3070 is amazing if you can secure one at MSRP

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Got lucky and was able to order it earlier this week when Best Buy dropped a lot of 3000 series cards. Just picked it up today a day earlier than expected. Still can't believe I actually got it. The card is great and is a huge step up from my gtx 1060 6gb from four years ago. Was definitely worth the price close to MSRP at $560, don't bother with scalpers. Good luck to anyone trying to get one. Heard the tariffs may increase GPU prices soon, hopefully that isn't the case. Note that the version I got has the red edge on the end of the card. However since my case is the Meshify C, the card end isn't as noticeable when looking at it due to the viewing angle and the tempered glass panel has a bit of a dark tint. As for the model number that everyone's been wondering about, it's confirmed correct to be 08G-P5-3755-KB on the box. Best buy probably changes the number to not have to price match other competitors. But the card is still legit as an EVGA 3070 XC3 Ultra. And with EVGA's good reputation, I'm happy if I ever have to deal with them in the future.

Amazing card- box came dented upon pickup though

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This card has the ability to run the 4k Furmark benchmark at about 74 FPS. My temps reached about 62° C. I received the version of this card with the red accent, I have seen other reviewers say they got the black accent card- which I find interesting. Snagged this before the MSRP increased. At the time of purchase the MSRP was $559.99. Also, Best Buy is probably your best bet at getting a new 30 series card.

Great upgrade from Pascal, Turing hold tight.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Got lucky and purchased this on Tue Jan 5 after monitoring the site and hitting F5 at various times throughout the morning. It arrived for pickup a day early on Friday. Excellent card and I have not seen it go over 73 degrees under full load with the default fan curve. Definitely a big jump in performance from my GTX 1070 TI at 1440p, but not a massive jump. I love the price of the Ultra version since you get a nice backplate and a slight factory OC as I am done with overclocking anything at this day and age. I don't think the FTW variant is worth the extra 40-50 bucks. My advice to anyone with a first gen RTX 2070, or even a 2060s you should hold out for the 4000 series. Anyone on Pascal GTX 1080 on down should think about making the jump.

Great for VR!
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This wasn’t my first choice for a graphics card, but in the current market one must choose from what’s actually in stock. Turns out this is a very capable card with excellent cooling. I installed it in a mini-itx case for use as a portable Windows VR gaming system. My kids have been playing VR games for hours, this EVGA 30-series card handles it just fine. (Mine did not come with the red “clown lips” — it’s all black).

1440p overclocking monster! Cool, quiet, and sleek
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Managed to grab one during one of the trickle drops and this thing is an absolute 1440p monster. If you can get one before the bots, I cannot recommend it enough. It's also very attractive with subtle RGB. If you're looking for a lightshow this probably isn't going to be your jam and you'll want the FTW3. Whether stock or for overclocking this thing runs great. Even overclocked I have barely seen it break 70°C while barely louder than a whisper. Very pleased!

GFX Card Goes Brrrrr
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Lol, this thing is a beast and I can easily have over a 1,000 chrome tabs open at once with no performance dip. Microsoft Paint in 4k is also a game changer. Other games look nice too, I guess, but who cares about running CyberPunk 2077 or CoD at 100+ frames. Couldn't be me.

Clean + quiet AIB cooler design & 2080TI lvl. card
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Read this as written proof that you can indeed get one (check here on Tuesday mornings). The triple fan cooler design works well with this 2080ti level card. Runs cool and quiet, and only takes up 2 PCI-e slots. I installed this in a TU150 SFF case, with 2x NF-A12x25 case fans right below and one other in the front all as intake, providing fresh air to the interior chassis and GPU. However, I had to remove the 3x EVGA logo stickers to allow the GPU fans to spin without collision. Unfortunately, it came with the red clown lips :(

Really solid card
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This card is perfect for 1440 gaming at high refresh rates. Black Ops Cold War at 1440 has no issues staying at 150 FPS on ultra settings. Temps never go above 68C. Fan noises aren’t really noticeable. If you’re trying to get a card follow the bots. Keep at it. It really is possible to snag one of these.

Q: QuestionWant to verify that this card is legitimate. Best Buy is the only website listing this card with the serial #08G-P5-3751-KB, while the official EVGA website states the serial number is #08G-P5-3751-KR. Is this a typo on Best Buy's end?
Asked by James.
- A:Answer Well, I had the same exact question and I googled it: "From what I've seen in the past, the "KB" SKUs are the Best Buy specific models that are different in model name only to prevent price matching with other retailers". Q: QuestionManaged to order this and it’s coming soon and I’m excited. Does this model now air out the PCIe slot on the back of the case?
Asked by Shariz.
- A:Answer No, it doesn't air out of the back, make sure to have good airflow inside the case.
