Great for new players who never played it before
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought it on sale for $30 which i thought it was great price since it includes all the DLCs. Only downside is that you need to update the game and download the DLCs which in total is like 15GBs on PS4 Pro. It comes with a voucher with the code for the DLC add ons and a perk poster. Besides the fact that you need to download all that stuff it was a great purchase.

Fun and Addicting
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love these open world games! I was looking for something like Skyrim and this game was perfect! Since they are both made by the same company a lot of the mechanics are the same (shooting, sneaking, running, lock picking, etc.). I jumped right in without much of a learning curb. It mirrors Skyrim for the most part but instead of a beauty, Fallout gives you a world of doom & gloom. I loath the flying bugs, I mean they make me rage quit frequently. When you encounter them, just run away. One thing I wish this game did is let you sneak more. You can sneak to a point but the enemies always detect you there no matter how good you hide or sneak up. It’s a really good game and recommended.

I was on the fence...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So my first introduction to the Fallout series was 3...and quite simply I consider it to be one of the best video games I've ever played. I've only experienced a handful of moments with games where I COULD NOT stop playing. That game has ruined relationships, caused starvation, and loss of employment. I enjoyed New Vegas as well. My issue with Fallout 4 was that I had a corrupted save that took place a solid 50 hours into my game and never really went back to start over because I was rather upset, experienced issues with 3 and NV but nothing I considered game breaking. I saw the GOTY edition was coming out and bought a copy for my PS4 and I realize that I actually love this game, there's certainly some issues with clunkiness, graphics, etc but the sheer amount of things to do is overwhelming. i can spend 5 hours simply tinkering around in the workshop, or scavenging, questing (some are rather repetitive, but that's natural) There is just so much to do and I never got to experience the DLC on the Xbox. Bottom line is that for some of the issues this game is really fantastic.

Very big dollar to entertainment ratio
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly, you will definitely get your money's worth from this. Just as the previous series. It sucks you right in.Soon you're running around with a killer dog, next you're killing a death claw in power armor. Very spontaneous and well rounded game. Simple mechanics, explore, gather and kill. But, also every detail you could squeeze in between. The fallout series is obviously the most dense and fulfilling game ever made, with few in competition to this date. Not to mention the mod capability with the new patch. I would recommend experiencing the story before you dig into the mods. Very interesting npcs, with superb dialogue, voice acting, funny options and down right hardcore statements. Did I mention Easter eggs are placed into just about every detail as well? Seriously, it would be a sin to dispute this record breaking game.

A Bethesda game through and through
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This open-world RPG from Bethesda, the makers of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, among many other modern classics, returns to the Wasteland in this alternate post-apocalyptic game. While the gameplay is as nuanced and tight as one would expect from a first-person shooter, there are many elements and character customization systems keeping the game fresh. The Boston setting feels well realized, and player choice has significant consequences in how the world is shaped thereafter. The sense of discovery when happening upon a new town, cave, or building is addictive. This package includes all previously released DLC by way of download code in the box, so there is plenty of content to keep you going after the main quest and many, many side quests. My only criticism is the game often “drags” at points, specifically when trying to complete some quests or events that don’t feel very rewarding, such as the settlement building and fetch quests.
