Purchased mainly for We Are Marshall. The story is true, a lot of the events are the way they happened; however, this is not a documentary and some events are invented for entertainment purposes. Overall a real good movie along the lines of Rudy & Hoosiers, the main theme of overcoming adversity/tragedy. Varsity Blues is actually one of the ok teen movies of the late 90's, even produced by MTV. The story line is great and keeps you entertained. They could have made the movie more kid friendly without the nudity. It's definitely is a good example of why parents should keep tabs on their high school age kids. Haven't watched any given Sunday yet, saw it as a bonus anyway.

Three movies.. each representing alevel of football and all doing a fantastic job. ..we are Marshall is based on a horrific true story and the movie is an awesome tribute to everyone who lost their lives and their friends, family and town

Amazing football movies!
If you're in the mood for a great football movie, then pick any or all of these to watch. It's just missing Rudy, Draft Day and Invincible. You can't go wrong with a good story and one that's all about football.
