A: There is no time limit on activating your Sim card because your plan doesn't start until you start the process.
A: Yes, you can, but it needs to manually set the APN to their custom "fp.com.attz", so it should be a hotspot capable of that setting. Probably one sold by FreedomPop or customized by/for them, will work. Be careful not to get a CDMA one, because FreedomPop also uses Sprint network. This SIM is for their service over AT&T. On their site you can filter products by "Network = GSM" like https://shop.freedompop.com/products/mobile-hotspots-and-modems/gsm and see if anything looks good. I personally do not like any of those, so I cannot recommend. The SIM card has the best price here on BestBuy.

A: yes during set up you need to pick a number .they give you a option of porting yours . I think there is a fee for that.
A: This plan is riding on AT&T's network. Can't imagine them (AT&T) not honoring the plan.
Q: Can I use this SIM card for smart watch ? Which is call DZ09 ??
A: FreedomPop is not the ideal service for a smartwatch (DZ09) as you will need to download the FreedomPop app for talk and text. Once the APN is set (assuming you can do so on the DZ09), data will work without the app.
