Q: i need instructions on how to turn on self clean, Do I preheat?????
A: Hello Noel! The instructions on how to operate self-clean within the range (FGEF3035RF) are located within the manual. The steps are: 1. Remove all items and oven rack from the oven and close the oven door. Be sure the clock displays the correct time of day. 2. Press self-clean and “---” will appear in the display. 3. Press the up or down arrow once and “3:00” will appear in the display window, this indicates a three hour self-clean. To change it to a two hours press the down arrow once. 4. “CLn” will then display and the “LOCK” light will glow. Your range is then in self-clean mode. Q: Do u recommend a specific cooktop cleaner for this stove? Hard to clean!
A: I use Weiman glass cook top heavy duty cleaner and Polish and the Weiman cook top scrubbing pads. Very easy to use and i am very pleased with the results. I believe I found this product at walmart.
