Works well for microwaving, not sure on air fry.

Quality4 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Cooking, VentTried air frying, after about half the cook time, the unit completely shutoff, no time display, dark. Reset the power by opening closing the circuit breaker, the 20Amp breaker was not tripped. It came back on, haven't air fried since because the weather is too hot. Will wait until fall/winter and try again. Not concerned about warranty since I bought the Best Buy service agreement. The Microwave works GREAT. The defrost is the best we've had, no hot spots when defrosting meat. All the other microwaves we've had end up partially cooking a spot on the meat. This unit does not do that. I like the turn dial for time and feature selection, less button punching. My major complaint is, even though it has a shiny stainless steel interior and a light, you can just barely see there's something in there, even with room lights OFF. No way can you tell if a liquid is boiling over or not. Why even put a window on the door if they're going to put a heavy dark tint on that window. I'm going to ask Best Buy if the tint portion can be removed from the exterior of the door, leaving of course the metal microwave protective grid and glass portion. I WANT TO SEE WHAT'S COOKING. Do these companies EVER have consumers test them? The first requirement: Visibility inside ! I believe the unit does use inverter technology, so you don't hear the buzz or bump noise every time the magnetron turns on and off. All you hear is just the fan. I also think the manufacturer could have used insulation (more?). The top of the unit reached 160 degree measured by an electronic thermometer when trying to air fry. Do not touch the top and do not leave anything on or by the unit. I would pay more to see inside AND have a cool exterior.

Would not recommend.
Posted .No, I would not recommend this to a friendIt makes a very loud clanking noise when I attempt to use the bake function. I can only use it as a microwave.

Galanz 3 in 1 convection microwave oven

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Cooking, Ease of useI bought this unit to replace the microwave and toaster oven. I haven’t used all the features yet as the unit is relatively new, but it’s easy to use. The microwave option cooks food evenly. The defrost option completely thawed the meat I had chosen but did not cook the edges. I’m pleased with this unit so far!

Quality4 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use3 out of 5Pros mentioned:Cooking, VentWorks well, but seems to take longer on bake/convection than just heating up the oven, but it is very convenient, especially if the oven is already being used. We really like the air fryer capability, it does crisp up food nicely.

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Cookinghave really enjoyed having this oven while in the lock down! it has been a little learning curve with the convection oven since it cooks a little quicker than our regular stove, but the even browning and really good rise from biscuits is great!

Q: QuestionCan this be used to toast bread?
Asked by 4thekitchen.
- A:Answer It's not exactly the same as a toaster oven, but I've made garlic toast in the oven before, and it's basically like a mini oven. It's worth a try, and would probably turn out crispy. I suppose you could use convection/bake or air fry functions to achieve the results you want.

Q: QuestionWhat are the required side / top / back clearance requirements? I'm assuming this gives off a lot of heat during air fry and convection modes.
Asked by WatcherDee.
- A:Answer Manual says clearance should be 8" above and 2" on the sides. Nothing to the rear noted.
