Cycle Computer is a great addition for tracking your metrics. Packed with many features like Live tracking, which is great for someone else to monitor your ride, which I enjoy for safety. The Garmin Edge 1030plus is L 4 1/2" x W 2 1/4", which is about the same size as the older Garmin Edge 1000. The screen is bigger on the 1030 plus: 3" x 1 3/4", The edge 1000 screen is 2 1/2" x 1 1/2". On my Bike the 1030 plus sits nice inside my handlebar. The 1030 plus setup was easy, because I already had a profile, all my activities just crossed over. Good touch screen with gloves equipped with sensitivity, good battery life. Would recommend upgrading from an the older Garmin unit and adding the front light, UT800 and the rear radar unit Varia RTL515 for piece of mind if commuting on the streets.

This Garmin GPS 1030 is an excellent touchscreen design that is user friendly and has numerous features for a serious cyclist. Great with maps. Excellent battery life for 100 mile rides.
