Super Easy Set Up!
|Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Set up, Video qualityExtremely easy to set up, download the app on your (Garmin Drive App), pair the phone with the dash (Bluetooth), and place the dash cam in your car. The app will give a live view so you can place the dash an at the desired spot. Only downside there is with this dash cam is the slow transfer speed for footage, but the app makes it easy to view footage as well. And before I forget the dash cam has a button you can press and it will lock that footage so it won’t get over written. Just in case something happens and you want to view it later.

You’d be surprised with what this cam can do
|Posted .Owned for 2 months when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I used it for a while in my car not knowing what I was going to get from it. And by that I mean the images. Used it for several weeks without stopping to check what the videos/images would look like... and that was all because I didn’t have a full function laptop/computer. When I did, I decided to plug the memory card in to view what I had captured so far for the past couple of weeks. I was stunned! Couldn’t believe how sharp the images and clips were. Vivid clear images of car number plates and the sound quality was far more than I had anticipated. I hadn’t downloaded the app onto my phone at the time to see what the shots were. It works regardless of the app download. Looking forward to buy another one for rear view images/video clips. I just wish that the car charging cable could convert to a USB cable just so I could use/utilize it interchangeably with different ports! Overall perspective, it’s a great dash cam which can be used for rear viewing too if only you can look for ways to...

Great little dash cam
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Video qualityThe video it records is significantly better then the live view on your phone. I have had the Garmin dashcam GPS before and have no issues. You can turn off the speed/ gps location on the video if you do not want to incriminate yourself. The usb power cable is very long.

Use it as a cockpit cam in a Side-by-Side (UTV)
|Posted .Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Pros mentioned:Ease of useIt works great as a cockpit cam in my side-by-side. My friend 3D printed a mount for the camera and I installed it on the inside of the back window facing forward. It records all of my rides. I also like the fact that it uses the same software for upgrades as my Garmin GPS. The unit may be simple (not many features) but it is perfect for my application. It works great!

Best Small Form Factor Dash Cam
|Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Features
Quality4 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use4 out of 5I appreciate the form factor as I hardly notice it in my car, and the numerous passengers I've had in my car can attest to that as well. I hardwired it of course as I wanted something that wouldn't be noticeable and obstruct my view. This comes at the cost of moving the interface to an application that you must download to your smartphone rather than an on device screen w/ buttons. For the most part, after downloading the application it is mostly plug in play, except if you want to hardwire it instead of using the car adapter. While I do have my dash cam hardwired, I did it in the way that it would turn off with the car so I've been unable to test out parking mode as I'm not interested in recording while the car is parked & off. Besides that, I definitely recommend this dash cam.

Q: QuestionHow long does this camera record?
Asked by Hours.
- A:Answer The length of recording time depends on the size of the MicroSD you use in it. The camera records in 1-minute chunks as soon as you start your car, and compiles all the chunks into a single video clip when you turn off your car. When the memory is full, it will record over the oldest videos first. But you can go into the app and select specific videos to be saved permanently.
