A: Yes, it will show calories burned throughout the day as well as how many calories you have burned during and after a workout/activity. You can find this information on both the watch itself and the companion app on your phone. You get decent amount of information on your watch but more in depth information on your phone. Q: What is the battery life for the Venu Sq 2?
A: I have everything set to constant monitoring. I usually charge mine every 3 days. But I can easily get 5 days of heavy out if it. If I am more conservative i can get 7+ days especially with battery saver.
Q: Can you receive and send text messages??
A: Yes it will receive text messages. Text response/reject phone call with text (Android only)
Q: Can you get phone calls on this garmin?
A: You may accept or decline the call on the watch, it will show the number and/or name of caller on watch. To speak to the caller you must speak on the phone itself.
A: No, GPS is built in and doesn't require a phone.
