Q: can you swim laps with the Garmin v. 2? and if so will it record distince for the swim?
A: The vívofit 2 does not record laps when swimming. As it records distance based on a natural walking motion, the activities recorded are more geared towards running. This may give inaccurate readings for a swimming type activity. ^DK
