Required accessories include a new dryer vent kit (existing cannot be reused), available for purchase at Best Buy.
- Before we begin: To prepare for installation, make sure someone 18 or older is present at the appointment time.
- Disconnect the existing dryer: We'll start by unplugging the unit from the electrical outlet and disconnecting the gas and vents. An existing, dedicated, functional, non-corroded and code-compliant shutoff valve is required.
- Convert dryer to liquid propane (LP): We'll replace the natural gas orifice(s) using the liquid propane conversion kit. Then, we'll adjust all burner elements to display the proper flame and plug the dryer back into the electrical outlet.
- Final steps: We'll level and test the appliance for functionality, clean up our workspace, answer any questions you may have, and let you know how to contact us for future support.
- Purchase haul-away services for an additional fee: When you buy a qualifying gas dryer from Best Buy, we’ll haul away and recycle or relocate your old one for you. (Not included)
