Had a ge profile over the range for 13 years, worked great with zero problems. Decided to go with this model as a built in with the matching trim kit. The install wasn't too hard and it works perfectly, although we haven't tried the convection yet.
The display brightness is good, however the audio when finished should be much louder.
Overall very satisfied especially since I did quite a bit of research on built in units, but I was limited on black.
I would recommend this to a friend

Replacement for Kitchen Aid oven
Owned for 1 month when reviewed.
I bought this to replace a 5 year old kitchen aid microwave/convection that had a control panel problem, which replacement parts were not available.
Just got my new microwave oven two weeks ago. Love the look, easy to use. It’s a little smaller than my old over the range microwave but big enough. The convection feature will really be helpful and I’m looking forward to using it for cooking big family meals. Had one issue with the button that opens the door getting stuck inside the housing and we couldn’t close the door. We were able to resolve the issue on our own.
This was well served BUT I am having a horrible time getting my Samsung refrigerator ice maker fixed. I have been on hold 3 separate times for 1 hour with nothing but music. I really need someone to pay attention to this concern.

A:Answeryup.... means not to operate without the glass plate and ring in place. For the oven to cook properly regardless of mode there must be movement of the food being cooked. Without the rotation you may burn the item and/or cause a fire in the oven chamber.
A:AnswerHi Jimmy - You will choose convection cooking mode when baking or browning is desired. Follow the cooking times provided on the frozen pizza packaging. Cooking times will vary based on size, type, etc. Some foods may cook a bit faster since a fan is circulating the heat. We suggest to check the pizza at the minimum time provided. See page 13 of the Owner's Manual- Convection Features: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-40760-2.pdf - Keep in touch! SUE@GEA
