A: Hi aussie58- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for considering our GE® ENERGY STAR® 21.2 CU. FT. TOP-FREEZER REFRIGERATOR GIE21GTHBB! We do not recommend removing the factory installed icemaker. We suggest to view model GTE21GTHBB. It is the same refrigerator without the factory-installed icemaker: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ge-21-2-cu-ft-top-freezer-refrigerator-black/7479009.p?skuId=7479009 - Thanks for checking with us!

Q: Is this model in stock anywhere in or around Memphis, TN?

A: I'm not sure which location in the Memphis location you are referring to. If you look at the "Store Pickup" area, it should tell you if it is immediately available. If it shows a future date, it is probably not immediately available in your area.

Q: What is the height of the refrigerator and how wide is it? It has to fit in a specific area! What accessories go with it Rose

A: Hi Rose- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for viewing our Top Freezer Refrigerators! The Overall Height is 66 3/4". The Height to Top of Case is 66 1/4". The Overall Width is 32 7/8". This model features a factory-installed icemaker with ice bucket. Thanks for checking with us!

Q: When set at the mid temp setting, what will the interior temps be for the refrigerator and freezer compartments?

A: Hi - Thanks for choosing GE! There is not a set temperature for each setting. The temperature will vary based on door opening, food load, room temperature, etc. The recommended refrigerator temperature is 37 degrees F and 0 degrees F in the freezer. The best way to measure temperature is to place a bulb type or candy thermometer that is capable of reading below zero temperatures directly into a container of food or liquid that has been in the refrigerator or freezer compartment for at least twenty-four (24) hours. Temperature measurements in the fresh food and freezer compartments should never be made of the air. Air temperature fluctuates during defrost and during door openings.
