When we remodeled our kitchen we went with GE Profile for the dishwasher, built-in microwave, range, and refridgerator. I have been extremely unhappy with all of the appliances (from the beginning, should have returned them all) there is nothing special about them for the price. The dishwasher has been the worst. It never really got the dishes clean and gradually the dishes started coming out dirtier than when they went in. We've been funding our repairman's vacation with the issues. Even he has thrown up his hands and suggested we just buy new...and not GE.
