Nice Induction Range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my first induction range (previous gas). Induction is fast, hot, clean and does not heat up the whole kitchen. I like it. It works well. The range top is very nice, however, when you have spill overs, it can run down the sides, back or front. Clean up of the top is easy and the range top is only hot where the hot pot is touching it. The control panel is easy to clean when necessary. The only significant drawback that I found was that the burners have a minimum size for the magnetic bottoms of the pots. I was not aware of this. It would really be nice if the large burner(8") could also work with smaller pots. This problem mostlikely would be the same for all the other induction ranges that I looked at in this price category.

Best $$GE-Pro Electric Induction Convection Range
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.GE-Profile Series 5.3 Cu. Electric Induction Convection Range- Stainless steel purchased 11/2019 has made cooking and baking a lot easier. Saves time with induction top going from cool to boil in less than 2 minutes. Cleaning the surface after spills and cooking is important to keep it looking like new. Cool to touch after turning off burner happens quickly so foods don't overcook. Convection oven is a must for baking. Best Buy had the lowest price and educated sales staff to guide me into choosing this model.

Great range - one installation problem
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installation of the power cord (GE brand cord kit) was made difficult as the knockout ring in the wire cover bracket was not able to be removed. At least not by me following the provided instructions. It seemed as if it had not been completely punched during manufacturing. That meant that the hole for the strain relief was slightly smaller and made installation of the strain relief very difficult. After much trouble I was able to get the cord and strain relief installed in the smaller hole. Love the range so far (less than a month). Induction is fast and responsive.

Nice Kitchen Upgrade
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The induction cooktop is the main reason that I bought this range. It is easy to use and offers almost instantaneous change to cooking level. The controls are straightforward and easy to navigate. The WiFi connected oven is handy and notifications that the oven has reached temperature are sent to my smartphone.

Best range EVER!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best range I have ever used in my five decades. Induction cooking is the best way to go. We were going to purchase a duel fuel to have gas stove with electric oven but I am glad we stayed electric and got the induction.

Q: QuestionHi, I see this doesn't have a warning drawer. Does it have a storage drawer under the oven? Also....does it have warning lights to tell you that burners may still be hot? If so, what are they like? (warning on control panel or cooktop itself?) Thank
Asked by mch1.
- A:Answer Yes, there is a storage drawer on the bottom under the oven. There is a small red light on the control panel that lights up when the cook top surface is still hot.

Q: QuestionWhat is the height of the range to cooktop? I'm trying to confirm the cooktop is level with my counter tops.
Asked by krgreen.
- A:Answer Hi krgreen, thanks for reaching out! From the bottom of the range, to the cooktop are the following heights: 35 3/4" - 36 1/2" depending on how high you have the leveling legs raised. We hope that this helps! Stay safe. -Michael

Q: QuestionReading about induction stoves in general, one complaint is that there's a lot of beeping. I read that this range is "sabbath compatible." Does that mean I can shut off beeping permanently? (Not for sabbath reasons but just because I dislike extra noise.)
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hello. Thank you for your inquiry; we are happy to help! This range model has a sound volume control feature. You can turn off the beeping by accessing the sound volume and turning it off in the Special Features. We appreciate your interest! Thanks for checking. Olga

Q: QuestionIn the event of spills or boil-overs, is there a lip around the edges of the cooking surface to help contain liquid spills? Or is the cooking surface entirely flat, right on to the edges?
Asked by helaurin.
- A:Answer Hi helaurin - This model features an edge-to-edge cooktop, so there is no lip around the edges. A large, seamless surface makes it easy to wipe away messes. View the video at this link: https://www.youtube.com/embed/1e3HdvaopFk?rel=0. Check out model GE Profile™ 30" Smart Slide-In Front-Control Induction and Convection Range PHS930SLSS. Q: QuestionIs there a non-induction version of this oven that is also app-controlled?
Asked by Dan.
- A:Answer Yes and there is also a dual fuel version with gas burners and electric oven.

Q: QuestionIs there a burner that will support 9” and 11” pans or pots? I’m referring to the bottom of the pan/pots.
Asked by Doug.
- A:Answer Hi Doug - The elements sizes are as follows: Left Front 8"; Left Rear 8"; Right Front 11"; Right Rear 6"; Center 6" (100W Warming Zone). 9" pots/pans can be used on the 8" burners. For best performance, match the pan size to the burner size since heating will only occur above the element. The further the pan extends, the less the burner will perform. Square pans will work, although round pans that match the induction coil sizes work best. Cookware should make full contact with the glass surface and be magnetic. You might want to pair with GE Profile™ Series 2.1 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Sensor Microwave Oven PVM9005SJSS. It provides cooktop lighting and the four-speed, 400CFM venting system removes smoke, steam and odors. Thanks for considering GE! Sue
