Q: I have a UPK3 installed in a UNC15 that cycles on for one second and then off for ten, over and over... I don't think this is normal, but how it has been since install (last week.) Is there an adjustment? or is this normal?

Q: My drain pump all of a sudden now runs every 20 minutes for 90 seconds it used to run for 10-20 seconds tops. Is something wrong with the float in it? Some type of maintenance needed for it?

A: Hi - Thanks for reaching out to us! We're very disappointed to hear the pump isn't draining and apologize for this inconvenience. We suggest re-checking all electrical connections for proper placement, then restore power to the unit. With the unit still "off" try pouring several quarts of water into the bin. The drain pump should turn on and pump the water out of the bin, cycling on and off several times during the process. Q: Is this pump working right or faulty? Every 20-30 minutes the pump makes an extremely loud grunting type noise fir about 60-90 seconds. Loud enough that it will wake me up at night 3 rooms away. It was installed a week ago and has done it the whole time.

Is your water line hooked up to your refrigerator? If not, we suggest turning off the ice maker to see if the noise stops.
