Q: What does "Spacesaver" mean? Smaller dimensions? Angled corners? I have a corner cabinet issue. Please advise

A: Hello, thank you for your question. In the case of this dishwasher, the term "Spacesaver" refers to its smaller dimensions and ability to be installed underneath a sink. This undersink model has smaller capacity, but is the same height and width of a standard model. However, it has a half (front to back) upper rack so that it can make room for the sink bowl from the sink above it. We hope this helps! Please feel free to reach out with any further questions or concerns. -Chris@GEA

Q: Where is the Hard Food disposer >?

A: Hello, Thanks so much for reaching out. We're happy to answer your question. The disposer is located at the bottom of the dishwasher. Stay in touch! Mike@GEA

Q: I have a lot of rust in our water; would it be better to buy stainless steel?

A: Hello, Thank you for your question on GE dishwashers. My name is Donna and I am happy to help. Rust stains are generally from one of three sources: ~ Stains from objects placed inside the dishwasher such as pizza pans. ~ Rust stains appearing to originate on stainless steel parts inside the dishwasher. ~ Rust from the water supply. Rust stains from objects placed inside the dishwasher can usually be lightened or removed with a citric acid treatment. . To prevent a reoccurrence, keep those objects out of the dishwasher or prevent them from coming in contact with the dishwasher tub. This situation can occur on both plastic and stainless steel tub models. Rust coming from the house water supply could be the indication of a plumbing problem requiring the attention of a plumber. The water itself could also contain rust. There are many types of filters available through plumbing contractors that can aid in the control of rust. GE also recommends Iron-Out® for removing rust deposit from the interiors. Iron-Out® should be placed directly on the affected area for best results. Do not put Iron-Out® in the detergent cup & run it through a cycle. Should you have additional questions, please let us know.
