Great card, runs really quiet, no coil whine whatsoever. Benchmarks great. This isn't the fastest 3080, but it does the job for sure. I'm not terribly picky when it comes to which card I have, given the situation with them, but I am coming from a 2080 and it is miles above it in performance. My last card was a Gigabyte as well, and was also solid in every way.
A:AnswerThe bots won't let you get one of these cards. When this comes back in stock the bot gets notified and poof sold out again. It's a simple script running to go online and purchase with no human interaction. You to can pay $75 a month for this service. Best Buy has done nothing to prevent this. One guy showed his 40 video card purchase when thanking the bot service he was using.
A:AnswerI had a GIGABYTE 1080 for about two years prior to opting to upgrade and the card is still running strong with its new owner. I never had any complications with the card and it performed well.
Sounds like they won't have in store inventory from what I've heard, but certainly worth calling your store the day of or checking if it's available for same day pickup online.
A:AnswerThe questions about the bots, particularly the ones that complain are still there, however it makes sense to delete reviews complaining about the bots. The review feature is meant to give an indicator of product quality, and or customer satisfaction. Complaining about not being able to purchase a product has no bearing on whether or not the product itself is worth buying.
