Q: Does the Digital Copy redeem in 4K or regular HD?

A: I believe it is just an HD digital copy but I would need to double check but I am 95% sure on that! Hope this helps!

Q: The back of its case shows both "Dolby Vision" and "HDR10+" logos... So, which one is it??... I thought they were different/competing formats.

A: Without being too technical, Dolby Vision is the better format. HDR 10+ has about 4000 nits and 1 billion shades of color. Dolby Vision enhances those numbers. But everything is dependent upon the electronics in use (TV, 4k player, video content, etc.)

Q: Does this exact version have a digital code with it? The photo doesn’t show the J card that usually specifies if it has the digital.

A: No digital code.

Q: Do you have to have a special player or can i JUST play it on my ps4? with the special glasses?

A: You can use your PS4.

Q: Is this a steelbook?

A: It’s not a Steelbook.

Q: How do you redeem the digital copy? Is it through google play or what? What service provides the digital copy?

A: There's usually a paper inside the case with instructions on how to redeem the digital copy. They seem to be a limited time offer, so if you haven't redeemed it by now, you're probably not be able to anymore.

A Godzilla movie for the Godzilla fans
This is a movie for the Godzilla fans. Superb monster scenes with a fantastic score that uses the original Godzilla themes from the Japanese movies. The film looked beautiful in 4K and the sound mixing is epic. Michael Dougherty shows a lot of passion and respect for the property. It felt as if I was watching a Toho Japanese Godzilla film but on a higher budget. Even the humans, from the main scientists trying to help Godzilla to the tortured villain, felt like their motivations and actions were ripped from the older movies. If you felt like Godzilla was a co-star in his first movie than you will love this one because your favorite monsters are now front and center – both on the screen and in plot discussion. No cutaways from news broadcasts or doors closing – here you see the epic monster action as the humans deal with their plights as well. Each creature was also shown as the natural disasters that they truly are. I especially loved Mothra and the (2) female “scientists” who know so much about her *watch the movie I don't want to spoil it*. I would encourage anyone who loved Godzilla movies as a child or just for the fun of it to check this one out with your family and friends. Bring on Kong vs. Godzilla - Long Live the King!

Must have for home entertainment!
Let’s start with the movie, fantastic! Critics did not like too much Godzilla or the human plot, ask any Godzilla fan, this was amazing! Loved everything about this movie! Visually stunning! You can see so much more at home with fine details! I’ve watched this movie about 5 times already! Audio quality is wow! Way more thunderous than I remember. If you have a great system at home, your neighbors will dislike you for this sounding so amazing! Everything is amazing! Oh and Best Buy! Props to Best Buy the Steelbook 4K is beautiful!!! It’s has Godzilla, Ghidorah, Rodan, and Mothra on it! I said this movie was visually stunning, so is the steelbook from Best Buy! Thank you Best Buy!

SteelBook art is very cool!
First, the SteelBook: It is worth the wait. Very cool cover art: Godzilla on the front, King Ghidorah on the back, Mothra and Rodan on the inside covers. The SteelBook itself is nice and tight and well-produced. Next, Best Buy: The pricing is reasonable but the shipping was slow. Not terribly problematic for me because I saw the movie in IMAX, 3D, 4D (Cinema16 in Holtsville), and plain vanilla. Overall, a good shopping experience. The movie: Will I'm a fairly fanatical Godzilla geek, and I think the kaiju look great, I think the story is weak. Personally, I think the idea of <SPOILER ALERT!> communication/control device (Orca) is weak and well, lame (I'm gonna catch flack for that I bet). The "environmental terrorist" angle was promising, but I don't know, maybe it's just me, I shook my head in disappointment when the Orca was used and explained. The rest of the movie was pretty good, and I loved the nods to the old Toho Godzilla movies, but the very end, when Godzilla is standing with the other kaiju surrounding him, and when Rodan bows down and spreads his wings like a cape, was TOO literal. It to me was like saying to a viewer "in case you still don't get it, Godzilla is King of the Monsters." D'uh. The other cool thing about having the DVD is we can now pause it to find the Easter eggs we missed in the theaters. If you're careful, you'll fund quite a few! And please, _DON'T RUIN GODZILLA vs. KONG!_
