A: If you're talking about the tether attachment then no it doesn't. I bought this kit for the j mount to put on my motorcycle helmet. Trust me, the go pro mounts hold very well on their own, even at high speeds the only thing that moves is my helmet from the wind
A: You might try this; Camera Handlebar Seatpost Clamp Roll Bar Mount+Mounting Adapter for GoPro Hero 1 2 3 3+ Black. Don't know if will clamp on a hiking pole. GoPro and others have different pole clamps.
