With my iPod classic, I've used cases from XtremeMac, Belkin, and Griffin, with the Griffin being my favorite. For my new Nano, I wanted something that had a clip-on case so I could detach it when not in the gym. I've used the DLO version with a 3G Nano and wasn't tremendously impressed. So, I went with the Griffin.
Other reviewers had negative things to say, and I'd like to dispel some. First, the gray coloration will show some, depending on how much wrap is left over to velcro. Second, the 4G Nano fits nicely into the sleeve, provided you insert it correctly from the top and not try to force it in through the bottom. There is a slit in the bottom to allow for dock connection and headphone use. The sleeve itself allows for easy click wheel use and holds the device pretty securely. As an aside, the new Nano has an aluminum shell, so it's not exactly "delicate", as another reviewer feels.
The bad parts are the sizing. I'm a guy and I don't have tremendously huge arms. The arm band did not fit around my upper arm. This would work best as a wristband for jogging. The clip on case did not want to stay on firmly to the band and the headphone cord clip did not stay in the slots. Eventually, I gave up the band and clipped the detachable case to my gym shorts, ran the headphone cord under my shirt, and was able to workout pretty well after that.
For under $30, this isn't horrible, but realize that the sizing isn't suited for everyone.

I bought this yesterday because it's the only armband that has the space open for click wheel use. After getting home and trying to get my nano in the case to fit right took about 5 minutes. I did like the instructions say and place the nano in the face. They just didn't make it right. I tried it multiple times to see if it just happened to be my first time & maybe the cases first time having a nano in it. It is a clumsy case that is difficult to get closed even if there isn't anything in it. It's worth a try if anyone is up to the task, but come back and review it after you return it. I will be returning it today as it would be a frustrating and time consuming task to do this everything I want to use the armband. So unless you need motivation and need something to seriously irritate you such as getting your nano in this case and then reminding yourself you actually wasted over $20 on it I would stay away from it and try another armband.

I just purchased this product to hold my ipod while I'm working out - yesterday was the first day i tried it out. First I tried to use the arm band - but it's too loose around my upper arm, even when i pulled it as tight as it would go. (I'm a girl, so this will likely not be a problem for guys unless you're really small-armed!) So I tried to use the clip on my shorts band instead. This worked for a while, then suddenly, the ipod case (it's plastic with a top and bottom piece that snap together) popped open and the ipod fell out onto the floor. This happened twice more during my workout and now I'm afraid I may have damaged the ipod. I fooled around with the case for a while to make sure it wasn't user error, but each time, the case was as secure as I could get it. Not sure what's up with this product, but i absolutely wouldn't reccommend it to anyone!

I am perfectly happy with the armband. Yes, it was hard for me to get my iPod in the case, but then I realized "oh i have a 2nd gen and this is for a 4th gen". The 4th gen is probably skinnier. Anyway, after I struggled to get my iPod in, it fit snug and perfect. The armband fits nice and firm on my arm without slipping or moving around. Perfect for my workout. The controls are easy to use; I did not have any problems adjusting the volume or changing the song during my run. Two drawbacks: 1) velcro is very tough, so you might struggle a bit to get the right fit and 2) if you sweat a lot, this thing gets drenched. But it dries quickly. I suggest once you get the fit right, don't mess with the velcro.

I bought this because the choices in BB werent very broad. Got it home... and first struggled to get my ipod in the case. Once I got it in I put it on my arm and immediately knew I could not last a workout wearing it. It fit my arm fine, but it started rubbing my arm uncomfortably. It will be returned.
So to summarize:
Uncomfortable on my arm.
Snug case that doesn't allow easy entrance and removal.

I love the convenience of this case but I have 2 drawbacks. 1: I cant easily access the wheel/dial to select a playlist, change volume etc... 2: My earphone cord still flips around the front of my body at certain times. Workable but the only downfalls. Very happy with how it holds it on my arm securely etc....good purchase overall.

Poor arm band

It looks cool in the package. After I got it home I noticed that the cool scaled silver side of the armbad goes on the inside so nobody can see it and the velcro goes on the outside. The slip case for the nano was so tight and uforgiving i had to cram the delicate little thing in there and I was afraid I'd break it. The ipod was held onto the band with a flimsy clip. My main gripe was the fact that the holder had no access to the ipod jack so that I would have to cram the ipod in and out of that stupid jacket every time i needed to be charged (daily for me) I couldn't imagine. Dumb design.

Purchased it then realized that it is difficult if not impossible to control the nano
