Hitman Trilogy - PlayStation 2

These games seem to have the problem of being released at the wrong time competing with games like Halo and then getting total overlooked. It also gets compared to other shooters, which usually are not correct comparisons. It isnt the standard shoot-em up because on anything but the easy levels you cant get away with that, and tend to get lower scores even if you could. And it really is a different experience then the stealth games such as splinter cell. It isnt as much about hiding, as trying to blend in while doing your job. Each mission really only takes like 10 minutes once you know how to do it, but learning the level can take hours which is where the challenge is. All in all its a good set of games, but you definitely have to be in a different mood then you do for your standard shooters to really get into them.

The hitman series is a great gaming experience. It does take time to learn the controls, the levels, and how the character works. It is a mixture of Shooter games, and stealth games, focusing on either, whether you would like to just run about killing everyone, and do the job hitman style. It is a challenging game, and has a good degree of problem solving involved. Learning the levels, what to do, how to do the job, using minimal violence, or usuing all out violence.

If you like sneaking up on your enemy without making a sound or using a shotgun to blast them across the room .then this is a game for you.

I enjoyed this set of games from the Hitman trilogy, but found the controls difficult. It was not easy to control the character, making the game somewhat awkward. I am a beginning gamer and found this problem very annoying, and got old of the game very quickly.
