Q: How does it empty? Does the top come off or is there a drawer you pull out?
A: The top has a handle it pulls straight up. Just empty the basket.
Q: Honeywell cross cut 12 sheet dvd/cd shredder: will it also cope with paper clips and staples?
A: The shredder can cut through staples, but not paper clips. Paper clips must be removed prior to shredding paper.
