Product Manuals

Q: Is this doorbell weatherproof? Seems simple: doorbell goes outside the house, should be weatherproof. But I tried a different wireless doorbell before and it failed in a couple months -- water got in.

A: Hello Ally! Thank you for reaching out to us. The Honeywell Series 5 Wireless Doorbell Push Button includes weather resistant properties; it's designed to withstand light exposure to the elements - sun, rain, and wind. Hope this helps!

Q: I am trying to set up the system that would have three push buttons but two receivers, can that be done with the system to all work simultaneously together.

A: Yes, from my understanding, this model can have up to 6 devices connected. There is a dedicated link button on the chime and you should be able to link your devices within range. Do be aware that from my experience, there's a slight delay between each device. Maybe half a second between the device closest to the ones farthest away.

Q: Please suggest the ABCs of where and how to install this doorbell in a two-story townhouse. Do I need two units? Thanks for your prompt response. Thanks.

A: Hi Chelito! Great question, when installing the doorbell it's recommended that you choose a location that is not near a heat source, or on something that moves (like a door). Choose an area where the doorbell will be easy to see and hear. The doorbell and push button can be connected with up to 4 transmitters simultaneously (this would include: push buttons, awareness devices, door contacts and motion sensors). We hope this helps!
