Q: Is it possible to upgrade the RAM to 16GB?

A: If you want to add 2 additional monitors to this laptop, so you have a total of 3 screens that includes your laptop. You would want to use a Universal USB C docking station that has the ports that match the ones on the monitors. Once they are connected, then you can use them in extend mode.
A: The battery is rated at up to 11 hours, so if you're only getting 3, there's some issue. Your best bet would be to contact the HP support team, so they can determine if the problem is a configuration issue or a defective battery.

A: Unfortunately, it's not upgradeable. The RAM is soldered directly to the motherboard

A: No the memory is embedded on the systemboard.
Q: Does this model have a pen with it?
A: No pen, but yes your finger. Super, light, computer -- I like it as well as my Surface Pro (which I always use attached to the keyboard anyway.)
Q: Does this model have a webcam shut off switch and a microphone shut off switch?
A: There is a webcam kill switch on the right side by the microSD slot, but there is not a microphone shut off switch as far as I know.
