My first Gaming PC..FIVE STARS
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I literally love this computer. This is my first gaming PC. I have always played console but with the rise of battle royale games incorporating cross platform to their gameplay, i noticed a serious competitive edge that PC players had over console. I realize a lot of people wouldn't consider this competitive edge to be enough to justify spending an extra $500-800 (or more) when comparing to the price of the latest gen consoles but for me, it was, especially considering this computer is completely upgradable and packed full of top of the line parts. This computer looks beautiful sitting on my desk, prebuilts typically has overwhelming RGB, omen nailed it with this computer. The OMEN gaming hub is so easy to use and kinda fun to look at the specs and system vitals while running different games and programs.

Worth it
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I bought this because it was close to the specs I wanted and was actually cheaper than building something myself. The only thing that absolutely needs upgrading is the NVMe SSD, because the one that comes with it doesnt have nearly enough storage space to be useful. Even after buying a 1tb ssd and the external enclosure to clone the one that's in it, I was still under budget for the build I wanted to do so all things considered I think this is definitely a worthwhile product.

Getting ready to buy a second one.
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This is such a great product. You can overclock this computer if you get the Ryzen series processor. I got this computer on sale for $960. You couldn't build a computer with these components for anywhere near that, especially with all the supply shortages. The 2060 graphics card is very solid for any AAA title. I added a top fan as soon as I pulled it out of the box, and will and an air cooler later. If you want videos on how to upgrade the cooling watch DanKamYouKnow videos on YouTube.

High Quality
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.I did a lot of research before buying my first gaming PC. I looked at what CryberPower and iBUYPOWER offered in this price range and I can't lie I was tempted, but I wanted Quality and from what I researched they didn't offer it. They use whatever parts are available at the time of building, so things like USB 3.0 ports aren't guaranteed. I did not like that at all! I wanted consistency and to know exactly what I was buying. This HP Omen was just that! HP doesn't mess around with parts, so they use the exact same components in all of their PCs. So anyways I am very happy with this purchase! The packaging was great and kept the PC super safe! There was no damage or anything like that. The PC boots up super fast and everything's ready to go for gaming! It has a very nice built in Omen Command Center, where you can change the RGBs, monitor the temperatures etc. I mainly play Dead by Daylight on this PC, but I have played some Mirror's Edge Catalyst and Splinter Cell Blacklist on it and they run amazing! This PC can easily run these games at max settings 1080p 60+ fps. In this price range you can buy a more powerful system from the competitors, but you're losing out on a lot of quality in my opinion. It's kind of like Samsung vs Vizio, Vizio says it has a lot more features for a lesser price than Samsung, but we all know that the Samsung will last a lot longer and will be way better quality. So yes I just wrote a book here and I made a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes for sure, but that shouldn't matter! What matters is this PC and if you should buy it? I say Yes! You will not be disappointed! I hope this helped!

Good Value Despite Price-Conscious Detractors
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I read the negative reviews and saw that people thought this build was too much for the price, but I priced out building a similar PC and it ended up being a little bit more, with no comprehensive warranty from a reputable brand. So I bought it and, so far, I'm pretty happy with it. It looks great, performs great, and HP support has already proven to be a handy inclusion (they quickly and easily help me solve a minor issue involving controlling the light patterns on the preinstalled HyperX RGB RAM). Two small complaints, though: 1) There's a small scratch in the inner part of the glass pane on the front, near the front fan assembly. I hate knowing that it's there, but it's not bad enough to warrant boxing it back up and taking it back to the store. 2) There is no overlap between users who would buy a gaming PC like this and users who would be satisfied with the included ugly, mushy wired keyboard and no-frills wired mouse. It would have been better to either throw in lower-end gaming peripherals, or to save us a buck by not including anything at all.

Just Amazing Must Have
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Listen this thing is a beautttyyyyyyy to look at first of all you can literally change all of the colors to each part and set it how you want it it's just phenomenal! I have no problems running anything I am a hardcore gamer if you are looking for the best bang around this price range right now go for it this for me felt safe as someone who just didn't yes feel like taking the time to order the parts and put it all together myself I would definitely recommend this and only this and I'm pretty sure you can get these specs for cheaper someone where out there but I wanted to go with a brand I trusted

A great gaming PC!
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I have always had Alienware PC's so moving from Dell(I know it really isn't Dell but they bought them) to HP was a tough thing to do. Well I have had the desktop 3 days and have access to Steam, EA, Battle.net, UbiSoft and XBox systems, I have downloaded many of my games and they play at the highest resolutions and the setup was flawless. It feels like Christmas every morning I wake up to boot this PC up and I am now an HP Omen Fan!

Greatness from small beginnings
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. What brought me towards this PC was the appearance of the case, it's not like your other kiddie RBG focused crap. This is perfect PC for a gamer who is all about playing and not staring at some colorful case. The performance by this PC on most games is excellent. You're able to run games like Forza Horizon 4 on Ultra with no frame drops. Internal access is also great, although there is space for improvement with upgrading not being possible with this set up. 16GBs of RAM is all you need in most cases. I have a ton of tabs open and I never reached 16. Overall this is very solid and powerful PC. Perhaps the keyboard could use an improvement since the F keys are missing and the mouse feels a little cheap for what you paid for. Those takeaways are why this PC is a strong 4.5/ 5 and not a 5/5.

Q: QuestionWhy does it only have a single stick of 16GB of ram isn’t it better if it was dual channel with 2 8GB sticks of ram?
Asked by Bill.
- A:Answer Looking through the side window now of my Omen 30L, and there are two 8 GB RAM sticks, not one 16 GB stick.

Q: QuestionI want to upgrade the 256 GB SSD to a 1TB SSD from samsung 970 evo but I want to make sure it will fit, cause when I look up the western digital that came with it , it has B & M key style connection and the samsung one doesn't. Will it work?
Asked by Mike.
- A:Answer Answering my own question, after I did some googling. This motherboard supports both types of SSD B&M or just M style memory. I bought an external SSD M.2 housing and cloned drive since it was the drive that contains Windows OS to my new samsung evo 970 using samsung data mitigation software. After it's done cloning the computer shuts off and you can swap the internal SSD. Sorry if it was a dumb question but I'm new to all this. Hopefully this helps anyone else that might have a similar question.

Q: Questionwhat is the mother board?
Asked by jimmy.
- A:Answer This desktop has the Moria3 motherboard. Here are the details on the motherboard: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/omen-30l-gt13-0000a-desktop-pc-series/33802663/model/34128633/document/c06611431

Q: QuestionHi, i'm trying to figure out the full specs on this computer. Specifically, what is the motherboard it uses, what SSD is it(or at least speed of it), Does it use any thermal compound and/or liquid coolant? Also what brand is the mouse that comes with it?
Asked by Echostyle.
- A:Answer The motherboard is an HP Moria 3. Despite what HP support says in their other answers, there is only space for one SSD. The first thing I did was clone the 256 GD drive and replace with a Sabrent 1 TB SSD. The 256 GD drive that was included was a Western Digital drive. I am unsure what speed it would is, I thought all SSD's are the same read/write speed. I believe the 1TB storage drive was a Western Digital as well, but I swapped that out for two 4TB drive as well. All cooling is by case fans, no liquid cooling is included. Mouse is a standard HP optical mouse, no frills there. I am still using an 8 button gaming mouse I bought a couple years ago, so I didn't even open the bag for it. Other than the upgrades storage space that I felt were necessary, I am otherwise pleased with the PC so far.

Q: QuestionIn the future Can I upgrade the video card, hard drive or any other components? Thanks for your time
Asked by JLuis.
- A:Answer yes, you can replace any part

Q: QuestionThere is a wire up towards the top, above the fan, that is coming out of a hole but isn’t plugged into anything, is that normal?
Asked by Jimmy.
- A:Answer This case has ability to hold expansions/upgrades, so I'd just consider that cable to be for "future use"
