A: Warranty is same as new from manufacturer. If new one shipped out and customer did not like product it would be classified as refurbished when it was returned. As good as new.
A: No. This model is ONLY a color printer.
Q: What operating systems does this printer work with.
A: I have a laptop with Windows 10 and use the bluetooth connection to print; it does a great job. I have the same printer at work and my desktop there is a Windows 7 and works great there too.
A: Cartridges are purchased individually. Around $75.00 each. Can find refilled for much less. Recommend buying the large copy cartridges. Cost per page much lower.
A: Yes, you can utilize gloss paper just make sure you select the proper media type prior to sending the print job.
Q: between the laser printer and inkjet printer which would be best for printing and photo printer
A: Inkjet totally. Inkjet can handle heavy weighed paper as well.

A: Look at the printer settings and select the proper paper type, this is highly important when printing on anything other that 20 weight regular copy paper
