Good phone, just don't drop it.
||Posted .Bought the phone, loved it instantly but handle with care. I dropped it 3 days later & the screen cracked. luckily I got it replaced with the HTC Uh Oh program & I am very happy!

Durability at it's best!
||Posted .Love how durable this phone feels, doesn't feel fragile and cheap. I use to have the M7 and huge improvement. Camera is 100% better, with the M7 i hated taking pictures, options were limited, hardware was flawed, pictures were grainy. M9 had some issues with the camera, but with HTC recent software update it fixed the camera issue, also helped with the phone heating up, still heats up a little with heavy use, but no where near as much as out of the box. the back feels slick, so definitely would recommend getting a case right away, kept feeling like it was gonna slip out of my hand, but the phone has a good form so gripping it is easy, The phone is fast, not the fastest out there but is enough to be happy with. Pros. Durability Camera much better than previous versions HTC Sense (All Social/News posts right on your home screen) HTC Boom Sound, listen on Play Music Awesome sound Fast Processor Cons Heats up under heavy use Slick back Battery could be better

Has some quirks!
||Posted .I have had three versions of HTC phones, HTC Inspire, HTC One M7, and now the M9. While I still love the aluminum case and it's solid feel, I am dissapointed that some of the best features of the M7 are curiously gone (like Zoe and the Blinkfeed tiles that flipped in a 3d way rather than slide in 2d). The camera has been upgraded but I used to get some amazing sunsets with the M7 version. The new camera features are not overly impressive and flash photography is spotty at best. Hopefully they will push out a fix for that soon. HD video produces lines in the video while viewing on the phone. Moving the power button to the side was a mistake in my opinion. I hit it every time I pick up the phone and it is just below the volume buttons. I still like most of the features of the phone but think they are going backwards in some areas.

Great phone
||Posted .I got the phone because of some snafu over at AT&T regarding a phone upgrade before the deadline (they don't offer contract upgrades anymore). After some shipping errors and a horrendous time with customer service, they basically gave me money to buy this phone from Best Buy while it was on sale. So the phone works just like it's predecessors in terms of apps and functions. If you've owned the M8 or any other recent HTC phone then you'll be at home. The transfer process is easy as it is with all HTC-HTC phones. I had purchased the Blackberry PRIV as my new phone initially because I loved blackberry phones back in the day. One thing I didn't realize and took for granted was native media players and gallery options! I am not fond of google play and picaso so when I returned the PRIV and bought the M9 I did extensive research to make sure it had both it's own media player and it's own gallery (like the M8). The phone gets hot when the screen is on (GPS) which is to be expected. I guess my only gripe with the phone is that when you transfer everything (apps and settings) you'll still have to sign in to everything you use and set up email accounts again. If you're looking for a new android that will handle your everyday needs and have limited knowledge of the android system then this phone basically does all the work for you. If you're an android aficionado then you'll probably do your extensive research and get this phone if it appeals to you. TL;DR great phone!

The best One yet, solid, stunning, FAST
Posted .The M9 is the first smartphone I've owned that has every feature and quality I've ever wanted out of any phone available. The camera is a big improvement over the M8, and the sound quality is still unmatched by every other phone and even better than it was on the M7/M8. The style and design is stunning! It's lightning fast, has a beautiful screen, allows for HUGE expandable storage and is backed by the best protection of any smartphone out there (HTC Uh Oh...FREE replacement for first 12 months, or $100 towards next phone if you don't get a replacement)! The camera software allows you to create a custom option and save it based on your own preferences. None of the reviews attacking the camera takes this into account when comparing to others...they use default settings so they're not showing you what this camera or its versatile software are capable of. Blinkfeed is more user-friendly than ever and the HTC Themes interface is the perfect all-in-one design studio for your screens, giving you control over wallpaper, icons, fonts and custom themes to personalize your entire experience with ease. Sense Home is an intuitive location-based widget that will display your most commonly used apps (and suggest others) based on your current location (work, home, etc.). Battery life varies based on usage but I've gotten mostly through the day with fairly heavy usage including a lot of streaming and gaming and music listening. This phone has taken a beating by a lot of hypocrites who said the M8 was a stunning design, but now are disappointed that HTC didn't overhaul it. Since when does a stunning design have an expiration date? The M9 doesn't have a quadHD screen but seriously who needs a 5" screen in your pocket that's probably better than your TV at home? The Samsung and iPhone cameras are said to be far better but what sense does it make to ignore everything else that makes a phone great just to have a camera that's only better when strictly compared with another, especially if the M9 CAN take excellent pics? Decide for yourself which is the best phone FOR YOU, don't let Apple and Samsung tell you which is the best or listen to reviews written by people who just follow or favor what's popular.

Awesome Device
||Posted .This is my first android phone, I have only iPhones till this time. I am very pleased with this device, speed, design, screen size, photo quality, customization.. overall is the best phone I've owned. RAW format pics and 4k video are pretty awesome on a phone. It does heat up a bit more than other phones, but its not that bad. Screen quality is great. One thing I would change is the position of the Power button as it is very easy to accidentally turn it on or off, specially when turning the phone sideways to use the camera or watching a video.. I would also turn off the capability of changing the ringer volume while the screen is locked. That is very annoying as it is really easy to accidentally turn the volume all the way down. Other than those 2 minor issues the phone is great and I am very happy with my switch from Apple to HTC.

AMAZING!!!
Posted .Granted I've always been an HTC fan, touchwiz & LG'S optimus UI are just too laggy. I use my phone for school, work (travel), personal fun and this new HTC One M9 is the best. I've had the one M7 that never gave me any major issues, got the M8 which was phenomenal, went back to the M7. Now when I received this pre-released model, i expected some issues, glitches, etc. so far nothing. some how they took the same 1080p screen and made it better, battery life has been amazing, camera is the biggest upgrade from their past phones, this camera is just as amazing as their others, but with more pixels.

Q: QuestionCamera - pic is blurry won't focusI have had an HTC One for almost 2 years. I have never had issues with photos until about 2 weeks ago. There was an automatic soft wear update on my device and now my camera will not focus and take a clear picture and or clear video. How do I fix this?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Make sure your camera lens doesn't have a film on it. Common problem on the HTC one due to heat with the protective coating. You can likely clean the lens off and get it back to normal. I had to scratch it off...

Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer You can use any micro USB charger (5v). I use various ones and have a 2amp charger from my local office supply store that works great. HTC has a rapid charger as well, I believe. Search Amazon.
