AMD as of recent times is comparable to Intel now even for gaming. 16Ram does help your computer speeds slightly if you have a lot of other processes open, but it will be dependent on the specs first which should be fine since this meets the requirements which you can find on the Blizzard website. Lag on the other hand is entirely different issue that has multiple factors, such as your home internet speeds, quality of connection to their server, etc. You could have an amazing computer, but it can still lag if your download speeds are poor.
