Future Proof Your Gaming
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. For a while I've been saving up to buy a gaming PC. I always played games on the PC, but didn't really get into it until Nvidia came out with the GeForce 600 series back in 2012. My first gaming machine was the Lenvo y500 laptop that ran two gt 650 in sli. This machine was able to carry me for the next 4 years, but as games became technically more demanding, I had to upgrade. at that time, upgrading for me meant purchasing another gaming laptop that came with a gtx 1060 6gb version. The laptop was able to carry me for another few years until I realized that I was in need of another upgrade. Buying another gaming laptop was out of the question because of how costly it can get on the long run and how difficult it is to upgrade its components. So when the time came for an upgrade, I chose to build my own pc/look at prebuilt towers. I was lucky to have come across this desktop during the black friday sale. This thing is a beast! I am currently revisiting Far Cry 5 and playing the new Call of Duty MW on ultra with max settings...and WOOOOOOOO... this thing runs these games as smooth as maple syrup running down a tall stalk of hotcakes with Michael Bolton music playing in the background. YOU FEEL ME? Can I also say that this computer is also quiet? At the loudest, these fans sound like quiet whispers that tell me "it's okay friend keep gaming we'll keep this rig cool." Thank you iBuyPower for making such a great rig. I appreciate the RGB and the included liquid cooling system for the processor. This PC will last me for a while. The ONLY thing that I have to say about my experience with this product is that the webkey it came with would not work! I needed that to give ya'll a review and share my love. Other than that, many thanks!

Best choice I've made for awhile....
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. As a first time buyer of a desktop I wanted to spend the time saving for parts and build my own rig. I managed to stumble upon this rig while "window shopping" due to being overly excited and spent a long time thinking about my decision. Having parted it, I ended up saving about 60 bucks with the sale price that Best Buy was offering and since I wanted to put similar parts into my build, as you've guessed by now, I've made the choice to buy this pre-built beast. It was neatly packaged, the cable management could have been a little better but it wasn't terrible, and all the ports on the MB were properly aligned (included in this review due to some of the complaints). To add to that, it booted up clean first go. So far I've been thoroughly impressed, it's run all my games on Ultra with ease even when I was streaming. The temps run a little hot (90c was the peak while intentionally pushing it to the limit) but that should be manageable with a few tiny tweaks. Overall this is a clean build, it's a powerhouse, and I am excited to spend many hours gaming my little heart away.

A Great PC for Beginners and Experienced Gamers
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed.I was initially reluctant to purchase this unit. Coming from consoles, I was looking to get a gaming PC (to play Fallout 3 and NV, to be honest) to experience the other side of video games. After doing some research, I was considering either building my own PC or buying a pre-built (which most people in the PC community seem to discourage). For the price (I got it on the Black Friday sale for $1,500), I am very pleased. The unit is a bit bigger than I imagined, but not by much. The RGB lights look amazing and can be controlled by your mobo's software (mine is an Asrock), and I checked both the left and right panels to make sure everything was plugged in when I inspected parts during the initial setup. Everything was in order and it was just a matter of plugging the PC in. Software-side, everything was a breeze. So far, I've played Fallout, edited in Premiere and will play the new Modern Warfare soon (as I got it with the purchase of an RTX card with this unit). All-in-all, I can not recommend this unit enough. I've only used it for a few days though so take that into account. If anything changes, I will be sure to update my review and let BB/IBP know. Cheers.

Great PC but poor wire management and storage bays
||Posted .This PC is great, it will literally run anything I throw at it at very high settings. Arma 3, Squad, Insurgency: Sandstorm, Metro Exodus, Grand Theft Auto, Rising Storm 2 and everything else. It's a great overall PC for a great price. I purchased this PC on Cyber Monday for an even better price. I do have some issues with this PC however. To start, there is the absolutely horrendous wire management. I would expect from a professional PC building company to at least build the thing with precision and the ease of use for the consumer in mind. I am very disappointed with it to say the least. What if I wanted to install another hard drive? I can barely tell which wire from the other? Speaking of hard drives, where would I even put them? There is only one, tiny bay that holds the current HDD. I looked it up and people say you can simply place another hard drive on top?? It doesn't help that I will definitely have trouble installing another hard drive because of the awful wire arrangement (if I could call it that). You will definitely want another hard drive because 1TB won't cut it for most modern games as they keep getting larger in file. Other than that, it works as intended, but you might run into an issue upon first booting up your PC. The PC might tell you that windows failed to install or something around those lines. Here is a link of a thread with someone who had the same issue with it being answered in one of the replies, https://www.reddit.com/r/iBUYPOWER/comments/7v3syo/windows_installation_problems/ That worked for me at least. I'm not going to count it as a downside however because it is easily fixable but still should not have been an issue from the start. Other than those few gripes I have with this PC, I have had no other issues. I have noticed that it does get it a little loud at times. Maybe its because my room is very hot since I don't have air conditioning and the average temperature is about 80 degrees Fahrenheit. It tends to really start revving up when I play more heavy duty games.

Excellent Pre-Built High End Gaming Computer
||Posted .-- I bought this computer specifically to play Doom Eternal -- my old DELL's Radeon 6700 couldn't even initiate the game. -- First of all, it was well packed with thick foam inserts and an internal shaped-foam pack ensconcing its innards--no loose parts/rattling whatsoever. -- Easy set up--basically just plug in the power cord/keyboard/mouse and screw on the 2 WiFi antennae. This GPU offers three (3) Display Ports and one (1) HDMI. -- Started up without issue--Windows booted in perhaps 20 seconds no doubt owing to the 512GB SSD. -- It's surprisingly quiet (even under load), I assume from the 4 large diameter fans and the liquid cooled CPU. --It's a quality case--heavy duty with large sturdy easily removable (thumb screw) glass panels, one on the left allowing a view of the motherboard/GPU/RAM/CPU (and its matching RGB color matched liquid cooler), as well as the color matched rear end fan-- There's also one glass pane on the front which showcases 3 large color matched fans. -- The color controller (software based--no remote) includes static/strobe/breathe/wave/cycle/random and music patterns--all with innumerable color choices and easily adjusted from the startup software. All the RGB elements display the same color (synced). -- The keyboard and mouse are also backlit with a slowly oscillating color scheme. The keyboard's kind of cheap but not too bad for a freebie--I'll invest in a programmable board in the near future. -- Most importantly, Doom Eternal runs butter smooth with all options maxed out at 2560 x 1440 resolution--graphics are fantastic! Same with Portal 2. Haven't tried any other games yet though I'm expecting similar results given its beast of an air-cooled GPU (NVIDIA RTX 2080). -- One minor niggling issue: No USB-C port--Naturally it has loads of standard USB ports, including 2 on the top front of the case as well as additional headphone and microphone jacks on top. -- Overall, an excellent buy, particularly at the currently $150 discounted price of $1599. Highly recommended.

Very mpressed. Excellent Pre-Built!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. So for a long time I was pretty much the only one in my friend group without a gaming PC. Decided to finally pull the trigger and build one but then this unit went on a flash sale for $1450. I was a bit worried about the quality of the pre-built as I’ve heard some harsh things from PC gaming loyalists but I decided to try it because it was too good of a deal and I saw some really promising reviews. Rest assured, this PC is awesome. The 2080 Super is an insanely powerful card and is essentially NVidea’s flagship card unless you want to spend over $1200 on the Ti. My unit seems to have come with an MSI Ventus OC. Temperatures are pretty good and I was able to overclock it a bit. I got very good benchmark scores with my unit and games run flawlessly. I’m able to get max settings on all of my games (such as Forza 7, Horizon 4, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, etc.) at 1440p with frame rates way over 60 (usually over 100). Look up performance videos on YouTube for the 2080 Super if you want specific numbers. The build quality is very nice. The tempered glass on the front and side feel very premium and the rest of the housing is nice. There is an air vent at the top of the system with a dust filter. If you wanted better airflow, you could probably install a couple more fans there. I’m thinking about doing that in the future. Everything came installed correctly and the wire management was surprisingly solid. The motherboard I got supports overclocking, the RAM is 3000MHz, and the SSD is reasonably fast. Windows boots up on about 5 seconds upon hitting the power button (at least it feels that short). There really aren’t many negatives but two things stand out to me. First is the WiFi card in the unit. It seems pretty fast and is usually stable, but every now and then I’ll get a ping spike when playing an online multiplayer game. Doesn’t happen much but it can interfere with an encounter or team fight. It could be my internet but this almost never happened when playing on my laptop. I can always install a new WiFi card so it’s not the end of the world. Other complaint is super minor but the RGB software from ASRock you have to use is pretty mediocre. It works and there are a decent amount of modes, but I wish there was a mode to make the rainbow effect only a few colors instead of all of them. Also, this really isn’t a complaint since I don’t use them but the mouse and Keyboard the unit comes with feel impressively cheap, especially the keyboard. I bought a Red Dragon mechanical keyboard with this as I was expecting this. Aside from the minor WiFi problems, I really don’t have any issues with this pre-built. It’s running everything just great and the aesthetics are very clean. I would highly recommend picking up an iBuyPower computer. While a lot of pre-builts cost more money than building yourselves, you can actually save quite a bit with one when you catch them on sale. If you’re not too picky with the hardware then don't let the stigma of buying a pre-built get to you. This is a very good value, especially when on sale!

Perfect system if you get it on sale
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed.I have had this system for 3 months now. I've had zero issued and have played a decent amount of hours on high quality games with the graphics all maxed out and still pulling over 100 FPS at all times. I bought this because it was on sale for $1,449.00 and I couldn't beat the price buying everything separately. I wanted a gaming PC but was worried about building my own because of my lack on knowledge. After having this PC and upgrading all of the cheaper parts to what I would have gotten had I built my own I would have spent about the same amount either way. None the less this is a great and powerful PC for starters like me. I highly suggest this computer but upgrading the fans and adding and m.2 SSD is probably a good idea for better performance.

Asked by ashbin.
- A:Answer I got this and paired it with a 144hz monitor and have my FPS set to 240 and it holds at 240 during all facets of the game. Now as I said, I only have a 144hz monitor so its overkill on that setting, but the PC can run those frames.

Q: QuestionIBP BB973.I just purchased this pc yesterday. On the front side, bottom fan led lighting doesn’t come on.Can someone explain or help. I check rgb software can’t figure out. The fan does work just not the lighting. And it’s the only one that doesn’t come on
Asked by Purcy.
- A:Answer Check the side panel, the one without the glass on it. If you're looking at the computer from the front, it's the right side panel you want to take off (there's a thumbscrew on top and a normal screw on the bottom on mine). Carefully take the panel off, lay it to the side out of the way. Look for the RGB panel, it will have around 4 connectors. Mine was close to midway on the panel (near the SSD). One could have come off. Mine had one off, and I put it back on. Be careful: make sure you look at the pins and the connector hole before inserting the pin back on.

Q: QuestionIs the OS installed on the standard HD or the SSD? Does this computer have room for an additional SSD to be installed and if so, will doing that that void the warranty?
Asked by Erick.
- A:Answer OS is installed on SSD, there is room for additional SSD. I don't think it will void the warranty to add another SSD, but get a response from IBP.
