Q: I am purchasing this and Echo Dot as a gift………Anything else I need to purchase????
A: You will be all set. The Echo Dot fits inside the iAVS1B to amplify the sound of the Echo Dot. The recipient is a lucky person.
Q: Can you also set an alarm manually or only by voice commands?
A: The alarms are set through the Echo Dot via voice command.
Q: Is this speaker blue tooth connected or is 3.5mm plug in?
A: Yes, you can connect to it with Bluetooth. There is not 3.5mm plug option
A: The iAVS1 was manufactured for the 2nd generation Echo Dot. The 3rd generation is not compatible.
Q: Can it be used with a third generation echo dot.

Q: Will this ihome work with the newer 3d generation echo units? Thanks
A: It is designed for generation 2. Generation 3 is too big.
Q: This stopped working the clock that is, how can I get this to work again everything else works.
