      I really wanted to love this alarm, but I returned it to the store today. Since I'm a night owl, it's always been hard for me to get to sleep and to wake up to a 'normal' schedule. I thought the whole calming sound and light thing would really be helpful, but my husband, who falls asleep in seconds, complained mightily that it kept him awake. With that option removed for me, I thought the pre-wake sounds and light were a great idea (and he's always up earlier than I am), and I did like that, when the alarm worked. Because I work a split shift, I also need a dual alarm because I like to nap in between. So I still had high hopes. But the main trouble with this clock is the difficulty in setting, then re-arming the alarms. No matter how I tried, I could not accurately set or re-arm the alarms using the buttons, which are also too small and difficult to see. It simply doesn't work as described in the instructions. When I think I've done it successfully, I wake to my husband frantically yelling that I'm going to be late for work because the alarm didn't go off. I had to set my phone alarm in hopes one of them would wake me. Paying $100 for this clock, I shouldn't have to rely on my phone. I found I could only change the alarms and pre-wake settings using the Bluetooth connection. Having that option is great -- HAVING to use it is not. Also, the button for pairing with Bluetooth is tiny and in the back, so is not accessible when I have to use it constantly. When resetting the alarms, both the volume and light levels on the pre-wake settings are always back to zero. The snooze time settings are always different than what I had saved them as. And, though I set the alarms to go off only on weekdays, they will actually go off on the weekends, too, even though I didn't reset them as I've had to during the week. It's maddening! Having spent so much time trying to make the alarms work, I can't review the radio as I never got around to trying it. The last suggestion I will make for the next version of this clock (and, ever the optimist, I hope there will be one), is that the pre-wake sound and light should continue after the alarm sounds and I hit the snooze button. It would help to prevent me falling back to sleep too deeply.

      The clock itself is great, and the music, sounds, and alarm features are also very nice. Using buttons on the top and top edges of the clock you can set the time, alarms and sleep timers with lights and sounds, adjust the volume, adjust the brightness of the lights, etc. The color and design of the clock blends nicely into most decor and is relatively easy to use even without reading the guide. The only real complaint we have is regarding the app. There is an iHome Zenergy app meant to control the clock via bluetooth connection, however the app shuts down and restarts on its own alot, it loses connection, it rarely connects to the clock, and when it does, the screen selections do not match up to what the clock actually plays. However, all of this can easily be controlled on the clock itself, so it is not a dealbreaker.

      When I read what little information there was about this "clock" on the outside of the box, I thought it might be a great product for an insomniac like myself who also likes to be awakened gently. After purchasing it, I spent three days trying to read the lengthy instructions in microscopic print on how to set it up. I never managed to follow them nor understand how I could set both alarms and their respective sleep modes. As for the app? I challenge anyone to figure that out. Thank you to Best Buy for helping me with an exchange.

      I've been trying to start my days earlier for so long. On the rare days I would actually roll out of bed and do it, I would feel groggy and sleep all day. This alarm clock has changed the game. First, I love sleeping with the white noise - so nice and gives me the best sleep. Then, you can set the white noise to kick off 30 minutes before your alarm goes off so it switches to nature sounds and then the gradual light starts to come on like a sunrise. I get up at 5AM no problem. And I really love that I can control everything right from the app on my phone. Best alarm clock -- ever!

      Love the clock itself and love all its features, I use this everynight with the Bluetooth function and play meditation sleep music at night. However the APP just flat out stinks, you have to always forget that device and re setup everything on the app to actually use it again. Kind of a pain but I have learned to have patience and figured it out what to do when I come home to get it working again.

      My father had trouble sleeping. So we tried this machine. He said he didn't sleep longer, but for the hours he did sleep were restful. A couple of things, the app is not necessary. One can operate the machine using the buttons at the top of the machine. Another thing there are too many buttons on the top of the machine and can be confusing. Other than that not a bad machine.

      Bought this for the wife not long ago. She enjoys the sound soother-type application and the bluetooth for streaming audio if she so chooses. The lights and colors it gives out aren't harsh but helps to give an easy light over the room at night. Worth the money.
