A: No, it does not fit this model. I bought it because previous question answerer said it would, but it definitely does not.

A: DOES NOT fit the A2289 model.. trust me.

A: Apple marketing all their 13 inch laptops as they’re all exactly the same size but the actual sizes of all those laptops are not the same through out the years. Therefore, not all 13 inch cases will fit all 13 inch MacBooks. For example, 13 inch Retina model looks exactly like the 13 MacBook with Touchbar with the naked eyes until you try to put those hard cases on them that you realize that the Touchbar model is much smaller. The best way to know for sure that those cases will fit your MacBook is taking with you to the store and try it on before buying. That’s what happened in my case the first time I wanted a new case for my Touchbar MacBook. Hope this helps clarifying on choosing those hard cases for your MacBook.

A: No it will not. Me thinking it was defected because it didn’t fit so I ended up buying another one but it’s actually because it’s the 2020 model design. So no it won’t fit
