Q: Does the cover crack after a few months? I have had one that did.
A: My laptop doesn't travel much, mostly from the kitchen to a table on the deck. Never been dropped, always have it in a padded case when I have to take it somewhere. About 6 months in, it developed a chipped and cracked corner (it has been BABIED) and I couldn't figure out what happened. Another couple of months and the same chip/cracking started on the other front corner. Expensive lesson. I would not get this case again. I know how it's been treated and there was nothing done to it that would explain the random damage. I found loads of Amazon reviews of the case that mentioned the exact damage I have. It's a pretty but crappy case, in the end. I contacted the company, still no response, so there's also THAT. Mine is just over a year old now, but the chipping started much earlier.
