A: The most accurate way to confirm proper fitment would be to look at the tiny labeling on the bottom of the MacBook, as the Overview details state: Compatible Model # located on bottom of device is A2251, A2338 and A2289 Check to see if yours match one of the three. For some reason, Apple doesn't make easy to find via SW, and as I had to do using my iPhone's flashlight to see what mine was.
