Q: QuestionWhat is the maximum number of 12 ounce cans of beer this will hold? This is the most important question about a refrigerator that should answer all questions.
Asked by Rustednail.
- A:Answer A 12 oz can is about 4.75" tall by 2.5" diameter and I actually have 2 of the 12 packs of 12 oz soda cans here so I simply put them in each location and counted how many fit. So, this is how many 12 oz cans this fridge can hold. The cans are standing upright, not laying down (except in the door's can holder). The fridge door itself can hold 10 cans, 5 in the can holder and 5 on the door's top shelf. I didn't put any on the tall door shelf next to the can holder. The bottom shelf can hold 11 cans (5 in back with 6 in front of those). Yes, the door still closes. The middle shelf holds 21 cans and the top shelf will hold 19 cans if put against the fridge temperature control. I did not put any 12 oz cans in the "freezer" section of this fridge. So, 10+11+21+19 = 61 of the 12 oz cans. 61 is the maximum number of 12 oz cans that will fit in this fridge.

Q: QuestionFreezer or not?Fridge apparently comes with 'chiller' not 'freezer', per se. Yet it comes with an ice tray? And some say it makes ice, some say it does not. So does it make ice or not? Can I somehow get an expert answer on this.
Asked by Mr-DJ.
- A:Answer I have 2 ice trays in mine and they both have ice in them. When I plugged it in for the first time, I set it to the coldest temperature. I put the ice trays into the freezer section with water and within a reasonable time, there was ice. I was actually surprised at how quick I had ice. I have since raised the temperature a notch (warmer setting) and I still have 2 trays of ice in the freezer section. It would seem that if somebody's does not make ice, it is not functioning correctly. Also, remember that if you laid it down for transportation, let it stand upright for at least a few hours before plugging it in so that the refrigerant settles back into where it should be before being run. Not doing this could cause the fridge to not function properly. I put mine in place and then went home without plugging it in. The next morning I plugged it in and it has worked perfectly since. Makes ice, keeps my drinks cold and everything. This is just my experience and my 2 cents.

Q: QuestionDoes this unit have freezer? The specifications says this unit has no freezer, but the picture shown shows a freezer. Which is correct?
Asked by Sid.
- A:Answer It does have a freezer, but it's tiny and just about useful for making ice only. You could probably fit in one TV dinner box, that's it. It comes with the tiniest ice tray in the world.

Q: QuestionDoes it have auto defrost?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer No automatic defrost. You have to turn it off and let it defrost.

Q: QuestionWill it hold wine bottles?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer It's deep enough to hold wine and the shelves are sturdy. I would recommend putting a dial thermometer in it so you can better regulate the temp..

Q: QuestionWhat Temperature will Freezer Section Maintain to Keep Food Frozen?I expect to keep a small number of food items like corn and other vegetables in freezer and need to know if freezer will keep these foods frozen.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer I haven't tried frozen food, but I can tell you that the coldest setting for the fridge portion keeps my water bottles on the verge of being frozen. The freezer part froze an entire water bottle pretty nicely. I would trust this fridge to keep a frozen lunch frozen. It's a pretty small freezer area though. I would say on the coldest setting, you could probably put a frozen meal in there and it wouldn't unthaw to the point of the food spoiling. It would unthaw a little bit, but still be cold enough

Q: QuestionWorked great for a week. Now won't stay cold.I recently purchased this mini fridge about two weeks ago, worked great. Now my food won't stay cold, ice cubes won't freeze. Set at 7. Tried unplug, and replug. still not cooling. Any ideas? Other than returning. Did all the "troubleshoot" checks. Help! Thank you
Asked by Leann.
- A:Answer You have to be careful with these mini fridges...I got one and put it under a countertop where air flow to the compressor area was restricted...about a week later it wouldn't cool off...I discovered it has a temperature sensitive fuse that will blow out if overheated in order to save the compressor. Being a DIY guy I went on line and identified the black plastic fuse holder and removed it and found out that it had indeed cracked, which shut down power to save the compressor... I found the part on Amazon for less than $3....ordered one and fridge is as good as new... Always allow enough room around the compressor for adequate air flow.
