I use it with the cutting board because the blade is sharper than what I’m used to. It works well on slicing eggs and lemons. I mostly use it for chopping celery and the small carrots to cook in soup. Not big like a chef’s knife but I am glad I got it. The edge is slightly serrated and I plan to use it for slicing my homemade bread.
