Q: I know it can connect to speakers, but I want to know if it'll connect to my stereo system

A: Hi! Thanks for asking! The Archive LP has line level outputs. So, when connecting to a receiver or stereo system, connect the Archive LP to a CD, Tape or other Line input. Do not connect this to a phono input.

Q: if I connect RCA outputs to my stereo will the integrated speakers stay on? if the volume is turned down are the outputs as well? I want a component for my stereo system without using the integrated speakers while using USB (record) and RCA (play).

A: The external speakers are controlled by the volume knob on the top of the turntable. The RCA output volume would be controlled by your stereo. By turning this knob down/off, you can use the RCA outputs exclusively with your stereo, without hearing the built in speakers. This knob is only for the speakers, and will not affect the USB output, or the RCA output.

Q: Is a different needle required to play 78's

A: Yes, there is a different stylus that's required for playing 78s. To order this, you can contact our Parts department at 401-658-3131 Ext. 1403.

Q: Would the software work with Windows XP? I know, I'm a caveman.

A: Yes, the EZ Vinyl Tape Converter software will work on Windows XP.

Q: Does the software work with MAC computers?

A: Better than it dose with window.

Q: I have a HP laptop running on windows 10; after connecting USB cable; when I start to record an LP and see the audio scale on my Laptop; will I hear the audio of the LP (selection) being recorded?

A: Hi! Happy to help! Yes, you can listen to the audio while recording. For assistance setting up and using the EZ Vinyl software with Windows, please see our tutorial and troubleshooting guide here: https://www.ionaudio.com/kb/ion-ez-vinyl-tape-converter-windows-walkthrough-and-troubleshooting/
