A: This is a DisplayPort cable, not HDM. I can confirm that this DisplayPort cable will run at 144 at 1440
A: This cable will only support up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz, unfortunately not 2560 x 1440 @ 144 Hz.
A: The JCA141, Type-C to DisplayPort cable is 4 feet in length.
Q: Will this cable work on Samsung G9 (240hz monitor) @ 120hz at a resolution of 5120x1440.
A: Unfortunately, we do not have a 5120x1440 monitor to test with. The USB-C to 4K DisplayPort Cable can support 3840 X 2160 @ 144Hz. You may be able to use 120Hz but not sure if it will be in 5120x1440 resolution. Cordially, j5create team.
Q: Will this work with Surface book 3 to connect an external monitor?
A: Unfortunately, due to the DP alt-mode requirement for the USB-C to DP cable, this will not work for you. A: This device will be able to output 4k resolutions at 60hz. This device is only intended for the USB Type-C plug to connect to your computer, and then the DisplayPort plug to be connected to your monitor/display.

A: The JCA141 has a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz @ 1920x1080
